Can anyone please add or remove documents from the below list which are required to establish relationship with my Aunt (housewife and mother's sister) who is living in Canada -

- Utility bills - Electrical and Telephone (uncle's name)

- Rental deed

- Marriage certificate (because most probably all the bills would be having Uncle's name)

- Employment letter (uncle)

- Last three salary slips (uncle)

- Promotion letter - If applicable (uncle)

- Birth Certificte of Aunty and my mother

- Canadian passport of both uncle and aunty

- Proof of Canadian Citizen ship

What's the point of mentioning it if you don't want to claim the points. Seems like you're opening up a can of worms.

Is it really impossible to prove the relationship? I guess if you don't need the points there's no need.

Thanks for replying -- One more questoin, I have liquid funds (as Saving/FD), do I still need to show Asset and Liabilty?
e.g. Asset - 0
liabilty - 0
settlement fund - XXX amount

Dear Seniors,

While filling forms, I have couple of questions, pls reply!

1. What evidence we need to provide for ASSETS value, for e.g. Car, Gold etc.

2. For Generic form "point 13"- Spouse Family name should be of Before marriage or the after marriage i.e. the current one?

3. Dependent Type drop down field shows the error even I have selected the correct dependent type, any idea what could be the problems..

Pls suggest!

1. You don't need to show any evidence against fixed assets like car, gold, properties, etc.
2. Follow exactly according to passport name of your spouse.
3. Most probably you have not filled in properly all the previous questions in the dependent section.

I have heard the word cover letter a lot number of times on this forum.sorry for asking this clarification what exactly we mean by cover letter ..do we have any format for the same.And where we will be using it in our application

A cover letter is a written explanation regarding any of your documents in your application package.
A cover letter seeks to justify some misconception which ordinarily will be concluded without you explaining it.It also explain why you are not able to include some documents or why you included some.
A cover letter will have a heading(reason why its been written) and will be dated and signed after you finish writing it.

Click did not travel.
Also use your computer to type "Not applicable" in all the boxes.

In this travel form i have ticked the Did not travel part did not write the "Not applicable" for spouse and children, will this effect my application.

Sorry for these question but each small mistake is making me nervous.
