hi
i have one question regarding the points for EXPERIENCE, is the number of years equivalent to the years spent in the NOC i'm applying for, or its the total years of experience?
i'm confused
please help

thanks
R
Not equivalent only to the NOC you are applying for....

Your work experience must be in an occupation listed in Skill Type 0 (managerial occupations), Skill Level A (professional occupations) or B (technical occupations and skilled trades) of the Canadian National Occupational Classification (NOC).
CIC will use only the 2011 version of the NOC to assess your application as a skilled worker.

Surname of the mother is her maiden name....surname before marriage.
Other names should be the same......other names for women is always the same for a life time(atleast in my country),its only the surname that changes after getting married.

Thanks Kollins.
However in India and like it is in my case, my mother's first name changed after she got married along with a change in her surname. So what should I do in this case? About surname I am clear it would be her surname before she got married but what would go for the first name, the name before marriage or the one after that?
Seniors, your inputs please...

I think it will be better to write what is originally on her birth certificate.
Write her surname at birth with all of her given names at birth also.
Cheers!

so if i have only 2 years experience in the NOC i'm applying for , and total experience of 8 years along with other NOC (0,A OR B), how many points do i get ?
thanks in advance

This multiplication factor might be wrong.
Also, count should be of legitimate applications and not rejected ones.
My idea would be to multiply by 30 i.e. total apps received would be 5460.

An Observation:
Based on last year CAP update from 16th Oct to 1st Nov'13, CIC had processed 341 application (2242 to 2583) in 13 working days. CIC capacity is 26 application per day. So Per week they can process 130
For FSW'14 I can see 182 application CIC received from 1st may to 7th May. Global application is 3times higher, 3*182 = 546.
Now finding till when May 7th application will be processed. 546/130 = 4.2 week from today..
So, CIC can clear till May7th application on 20th Jun.

On the other hand, CIC has to handle 25,000 application till Dec'31st.
So, Jun to Dec - 7months = 30weeks.
If CIC process as per last year speed i.e., 130 per week. they can able to clear only 130*30 = 3900.
In conclusion, CIC should have strategy to increase their capacity. Calculation not matching - Any other view friends.

After printing, you can write with pen. If there is not enough space, add additional page. At the top, write your name, dob, passport number, name of the from, and the number of question you are answering. Also at the bottom, give your name, signature, and date.

You can write it with black pen below your English names.
You dont need computer to type, use black pen.
Only the names are advised...not the the date of birth.

Dear friends, just to confirm the sequence of the form....

1. Cover letter if any
2. First page of barcode that have the signature, date and declaration
3. Second page that contains only barcode
4.checklist and all the forms and supporting documents as per checklist
5. Where to put photos, bank draft
