hello People,

Sorry for reposting this - I cannot find my last response on this thread.

I was wondering if there is any free prep material for the CELPIP? Could anyone share? I'm not really keen to pay for this material. I am scheduled to take it on the 30th.

Thanks for your responses! This forum is awesome :)

You must keep the local VO apprised of all changes in family status. If you get married you'll need to provide all the appropriate forms and documents to the local VO as if you had included her in your original application. I believe you must apply for your wife prior to the time the visa is issued otherwise you cannot include her on that application but will have to make a separate family sponsorship application to include her later. I am not 100% on that, others please advise.
This is incorrect. If you get married prior to landing in Canada and fail to add your wife to your application then two things will happen:

1) You will never be able to sponsor your wife for PR since she will no longer be classified as a member of your family because you failed to include her in your application.
2) You will be committing misrepresentation (effectively lying because you land using a visa for a single person when you are actually married). If this misrepresentation is discovered by CIC, it could result in your PR status being revoked.

So if you get married during the application process, you MUST add your wife to your application. There is no other choice.

@ bebe

I don't think NOC 0013 is suitable for you (from which country u r ?) NOC 's starting with 00 in Canada represents senior level positions..may be, grey hair ;). Your hubby's 5 yrs exp. may not be sufficient. (NOC 00xx has to be at least AVP/VP/Director level post in the context of my country)

Hi,
My question is regarding points for Adaptability points. I don't want to claim the points for relationship even though I have my parents and my brother Canadian citizen. Reason being not able to collect proof to show relationship (Names are different).
Can I mention that I have relatives and don't submit proof (Because am not claiming points) Or I must have to submit the proof
Thanks

Hello,
I have a serious question here, and I need URGENT HELP

I have applied before for "Quebec certificate selection" and my application was rejected after the interview because I didn't complete the required points "due to low mark in french Language".

Now I am planning to apply to FSW 2014, Shall I mention that in the Background Declaration form or not??

If I mention, will they reject my application, As they think that I have intention to go to Quebec (Which is totally not true)

and if I didn't mention, will this affect my application later on , or will this be a misrepresentation??

I am a totally confused and don't know what to do,

Please guide me if you have a confirmed answer

thanks for your Cooperation

Google Language Testing – Federal Skilled Workers. The first Google page that the search returns will detail the points that you can claim for you language test scores. Scroll all the way down until you come across a heading that says First Official Language (Maximum 24 points). The table beneath it will give you the points that you can claim.
Frankly, I don’t know how many points you’ll get for your listening score because you score of 7 falls between two Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) levels – 7 & 8. If the CIC judges your IELTS score to be at CLB level 7, then you’ll get a score of 4 for the listening section; if it judges it to be at CLB level 8, then you’ll get a score of 5
Your IELTS score of 6.5 for reading will get you a score of 5.
Your IELTS score of 6.0 for speaking will get you a score of 4.
Your IELTS score of 6.0 for writing will get you a score of 4.
So, your IELTS score ends up being either 17 or 18, because the ambiguity created by your listening score falling between two CLB bands.
I AM WRITING THIS IN A HURRY – SO, DOUBLE CHECK WHAT I WROTE AGAINST THE WEBLINK THAT I MENTION IN PARAGRAPH 1.

Hello Dears

I am totally confused abt my 66 Points as m just 1 point short

1) For Language I calculated 17
>Because I got in IELTS= Listening 7, Reading 6.5, Speaking & Writing 6. Is it Correct????

2) For Education I calculated 22
>Because WES gave me ECA equivalence of 4 years Bachelors (total) & individually both of my degrees were assessed as Canadian Graduations
But i didnt get ECA for my membership with CGA Canada(Certified General Accountants of Canada) this membership I got after completing an
online module while remaining all exams were exempted on the base of my previous studies.

Can You Pl Guide me How many points I ll get?

Snrs Pl revert ur advice
