Hello,

1) Today is 2 weeks since FSW 2014 opened, does anyone have an idea as to when the CC will be charged (completeness check get completed) ? My app reached May 1st 2014

2) Also I have a query regarding name of spouse in various forms of the application, wife's name on passport (SURNAME NAME = 'blank' & GIVEN NAME = 'full name'),but I entered it as split up name on the application everywhere (last and given names seperately), is this a deal breaker for the CIC or do you guys think they will let it go when they see other documents (her US State ID card, marriage certificate, her name on my passport's last page, her class 10th passing certificate) ?

SINCE I AM THE PRIMARY APPLICANT AND EVEN ON MY OWN I AM GETTING 68 POINTS (WITHOUT HER 5 POINTS OF IELTS), EVEN IF THEY HAVE ISSUE WITH HER NAME MISMATCH, DO YOU THINK THEY WILL CONSIDER MY APPLICATION ?

The Canadian government has expressed its intention to bring processing times for the FSW program to under one year. Recent applicants to the program have indeed begun to receive decisions on their applications within this timeframe."

This is very good news to all of us!

This is already ineffect from FSW13. Their case complete in a year.
Let us see wat improvement we get than this.

I put down P.O.Box 7500, Sydney, NS as visa office by mistake instead of CPC-O. What should i do now? Is there anything that I can still do??

Please help me out guys! will really appreciate it.

if your file already reached CIC, cant do anything. Just relax and wait for update from them.

They know where to transfer ur file. If u put irrelevant office do u think they will transfer it there.
Which is relevant for ur current location, they will decide.
U ve to mention correctly to reduce their work. Now it will create confusion, then they will transfer accordingly. Let's hope for best.

Hello Guys,

Little Confused with the Caps:
As per CIC Website, 50 Eligibile Occupations: Each - Cap - 1000
That should make it
50*1000 = 50,000 is nt it?
Then how come overall cap for NOCs is 25,000?
(As per cic, 500 for phd, that makes it 25,500- even more confusing!!

Am I missing something?

There is an overall cap of 25,000, and not more than 1,000 can come from any particular NOC.

Hey Johnson, there are many who have made errors and realized later. Don't be restless now for rest of the days.
Wait for reply from CIC. If there is something you need correction, they will tell you. Again, you have done good by sending it early where you can have chance to resend, if if if it asks for correction.. Relax !! 8)

This one clearly refers to the time spent at CIC stage, again the time to get actual PR depends on local visa offices.

soem are really fast like CPP-O and paris... some are really slow like Singapore and London VO
