Guys,

I have a house loan on my name but i havn't mentioned the same in the Forms. Do i need to mention that as well.
I have mentioned the liquid cash as assets and no liabalities as i don't have anything other than house loan and i show that it ill make my net worth negative...

Would this be an issue ? because i thought we need to show only liquid cash ?

Hello Guys, Can you advice on the following:
1.
- I have applied FSW-2013 (NOC:2146) and my application was received on 17-April-2014.
- As on my application received date, the number of applications received stayed under NOC-2146 was 79 (it never got filled) even at April, 30, 2014.
- My work experience do not require any regulatory requirements as I work in the support field.
- As on Date, no PER / no notification.
- I have used Bank Draft for the payment.
2. Under the new caps announced,
- I have applied for FSW2014 (NOC-2171) and my application was received on 13-May-2014. NOC#2146 is no more available
and the cross-match of designations in NOC website, matches NOC#2171 to my work profile.
- As on my application received date, the number of applications received stayed under NOC-2146 was '0' as on 13-May-2014.
- I have used Bank Draft for the payment.
So, My Questions now:
1. Am I correct in saying that - If I recieve PER on the first application recived on 17-April-2014, the UCI (Unique Client Indenfication) & Filenumber be generated? PER or NER, u'll have an UCI & Application No.
2. So, What will happen when CIC consider my second application received on 13-May-2014. If it goes to PER stage, then does the UCI remain the same? Will CIC add new filenumber under same UCI(as i understand UCI is always unique)? if they can't track u from the old one, it just might!!
3. Have anybody faced this situation before? I didn't for sure
4. Also, What is the process for withdrawing the PR application without having UCI/filenumber? (In case If I want withdraw one of the above applns.) it's difficult to withdraw something that has no label, for withdrawal there's a address in the CIC website, browse thru
5. What is your best advice for me in this situation? sit tight, wait for the notifications from CIO, whichever comes first, go for it and later when the second one comes, withdraw that.

Would this be an issue? if the loan can be somehow tracked by them, then u are in big trouble. because i thought we need to show only liquid cash? (assets+liquid cash+stocks) - liabilities = your net worth

it's quite common to ask for Personal net Worth Statement at the later part of the application process. u'll have to submit the bank statements again at that time, if your account shows the loan, then u are in big trouble. u'll have to show the loan + POF amount in the bak to satisfy the VO otherwise they'll not be convinced.

Thanks mate but what if i don't show the statement of the account from which loan would be debited ? because i maintain couple of accounts so i would show the statement which is not having any such loan indication. I thought that we need to show only the liquid balance, hence the trouble

Cutting and pasting from the NOC web site is basically an automatic rejection. It shows that the applicant or letter writer hasn't even attempted to give an accurate description of their duties at their actual job, but is just trying to tick boxes to be admitted. You need a description from your employer of what your job actually was/is and CIC will determine whether it fits the NOC. There are very few jobs that will include every single duty from the NOC description. Misrepresentation of job duties (or anything else on the application) is grounds not only for rejection of the application but for exclusion from Canada for 2 years. Just be honest and tell your letter writers to do the same.

I don't agree with "automatic rejection". And when you say "exclusion from Canada for 2 years" you are blowing things out of proportion. Many cases in the past with 100% copy/pasted job responsibilities have been accepted. Search the forum and you will get to know about them. In fact on this forum I haven't come across any case which was rejected because of copy/paste. If you find any then let me know.

BTW, this is not to say that copy/paste is a good practice. Additionally, your case acceptance or rejection depends on the entire application that you have sent.

Just to share my situation, Applied for NOC 1112, my application was sent via DHL yesterday and expected to be at CIO 4 to 5 days, May 17 or 18, 2014. Hope cap for 1112 is still open... do you guys have an online tracking list as to how many applications are already received?

Jango: Regular mail address would hold good if you had sent the mail through indian/government post office.

For courier companies like DHL/FedEx/UPS the other address is the legitimate one.

Sorry but you have sent your application to a wrong PO. Now its upto CIC to decide if they encourage it or not.

Yes brother its right that they accept the applications of P. O. Box addressed courier applications...It will not harm so..

But still suggestion is to use the Courier address when the package is sent by DHL/UPS/FedEx etc...
