I paid the fees . the decision whether to issue 2nd copy or not took 9 working days. and now when i paid the fees they are telling me other 14 working days.. they just have to print the result only but they are taking so long.

Actually they are not just print it. They are importing it from UK and so it will be taking time(I guess).
Mine was issued after 10 days I paid them.

It would be I think;

Primary 5 years (Class 1 to 5)
Secondary 7 years (Class 6 to 12)
Post Secondary (Bachelor-3 or 4 years, and Masters 1 t0 2 years)

How do we know when the DD is charged?

That you need to confirm with the bank you have made your DD in.

Follow the instruction as stated by WES,else they'd reject your application. You send the certificate(s) and let your educational institution(s) send the transcripts.

Can I apply for NOC of Human Resources Managers if my current designation is that of an Assistant manager.

I was promoted from Senior Executive to a Assistant Manager 8 months ago, can I apply in NOC of Managers? However my roles and responsibilities have been same for over 3 years.

Notarization is not a requirement if your certificate was issued in English. You are expected to send your DEGREE CERTIFICATE while your educational institution is expected to forward your transcripts directly.

Can I apply for NOC of Human Resources Managers if my current designation is that of an Assistant manager.

I was promoted from Senior Executive to a Assistant Manager 8 months ago, can I apply in NOC of Managers? However my roles and responsibilities have been same for over 3 years.

0112 is for human resource manager. So Assistant manager can apply for this provided that he should have at least one year of experience in this category. Your Executive/Sr. Executive role is suppose to be fall under Human resources and recruitment officers (1223) or Human resources professionals (1121) - what I think so.

However, you can try your luck. In the Background declaration, on Your Work Experience, write your occupation as HR Manager, NOC 1112 and duration is less than 4 years.

Problem in using Credit Card
My CC has a one time password it asks everytime I do a transaction online. Meaning for double verification purpose, it sms's me a code on my phone to complete the transaction. So highly likely CIO might get redirected to this screen and get stuck to complete the transaction and I doubt they will call me to get this code. So I feel they will just reject/return my application. Preferred CC but my bank has denied from removing this OneTimePassword saying they simply cannot do that for any of their customers.

Problem in using Demand Draft
If I use DD my bank is charging me the same day and what if for some reason CIO decides not to charge me and return my application!? I'll lose the money! as bank has already charged me. Basically I get charged the same day I make the DD with my bank, not the day when it is presented by CIO to their bank in Canada. And you know sometimes they just send your application back even without informing you at all, I have come across many posts in this thread where people who applied in 2013 contacted CIC in early 2014 and found out their application was returned due to cap back in oct-nov 2013 but they never received their application back and lost it in transit. And only way I can cancel this DD is by physically presenting the original draft back in my bank here who made it in the first place to cancel it for a little fee and get the money back.

Someone please advise.

Thank you for your reply Century. I checked my promotion letter and it says Promoted to Assistant Manager effective 1st August 2013. I am planning to apply under NOC 0112, Human Resources Manager by the end of June as I am awaiting IELTS results. Can I apply in the managerial category as at the time of application I just need 1 month to complete 1 year as an assistant manager. The CIC may only open my file after August, wherein at that time I would've already completed the 1 year tenure. Please advise

With Demand Draft, you can ask your bank to CANCEL the Demand Draft in case your application was rejected.
The amount will then be deposited back to your bank account but it will take time.

I did this when my FSWP 2013 application due to cap reached and I had to ask the bank to make another Demand Draft for my FSW 2014 application.
I am still waiting for the Demand Draft created last year to be deposited to my account.

Problem in using Credit Card
Many time told it in the forum. CIC will NOT use internet transaction system. They will use POS machine. So password will not be required.

Problem in using Demand Draft
You can get your money back from the bank after the expiry date of the DD, in case it has been lost. You also need to lodge general diary to police station for the lost case.
