What should I write in the cover letter?: Purpose of getting verification? anything else? Also, in the past 10 years I was in USA for 8 years and spend 2 years in India. Do I need to obtain PCC from Indian as well? If yes, any India on getting pcc from India?

Do you need a cover letter? I didn't send a cover letter with mine and it processed just fine. There is a space on the application form asking the purpose of the request. Just fill it out appropriately.

Hi

I am the principal applicant. Do I need to obtain pcc for my spouse as well? Also in past 10 years I was in India for 2 years and 8 years in USA. Do I need to obtain PCC from both USA and India?

Hello People

Just a Query: Checklist point 13

Proof of Education
To receive points for your education. you must provide proof that you have completed a Canadian secondary or post-secondary educational program OR submit an original ECA repoit along with proof of the foreign educational credential(s) for which you are claiming points.

So Do we have to send CIC another copy of the transcripts/marksheets/Certificates that we sent to WES?

Yes. You should send copies of diploma/certificate and transcripts

yes, you need both the US one and India one- from all the countries where you've spent longer than 6 months.

yes, in the cover letter, just state why you're asking for certificate, provide your contact info again and that should be it.
good luck!

Need help please.. Is it okay to write in "Sched-3 Section 12b Main Duties" the detailed Job Duties as written in the Company Letter? Thanks

This is earlier discussed by Century and others.... in Schedule A Background: Membership or association with organization write "I have never been a member of an organization" rater than "N/A". actually this is mentioned in Guidelines documents. While in the Form they are asking to write "NONE". isn't it self contradictory by CIC themselves. Which one we should follow???? Even sometimes CIC is confused...then what's wrong if we are also confused. :-\ :-\

Some seniors/experts can reply this base on their previous (FSW 2013) application reference. Thank you.

You need to obtain a PCC for anywhere you lived for more than 6 months.

Any dependant over age 18 including your spouse needs to obtain a PCC for anywhere they lived for more than 6 months, whether with you or not.

PCCs may be submitted after the application if you can't collect them all in time. The USA one will probably take 4-6 weeks from the date they receive it. Mine did anyway.

demand drafts are actually a specific type of bank drafts. they are categorized under bank drafts. when ever you are demanded to make a payment, your bank makes a draft on behalf of you, against the funds you provided, so that you can make a "demanded" payment anywhere else in the world with this draft that is backed by authenticity and reliability of your issuing bank. it is also a proof that you have that much funds available with you.

you can chose multinational bank for this purpose, as they have more contacts worldwide as compared to local banks, they can help your dd get cashed faster then the local ones.

+1 brother... :-* :-*

That's exactly what you should do.

Dear nshivani,

Actually my wife had 1 back log in graduation in 2006, without clearing that she join post graduate diploma in healthcare management from Dr. Reddys Foundation from year 2006 to 2007 (1 year Diploma). In 2007 we got married and only in 2010 she cleared that backlog and completed her graduation. As you mention she is entitled for 21 points only, if we add this diploma will it be any changes in points and will they consider this post graduate diploma as this is not after her graduation. Although now she is pursuing MSC from distance but not completed yet. I am worried due to lack of points and getting ielts CLB 8 its quite difficult.

Your reply is highly appreciated. If any one else to want reply much more appreciated.

Thanks and Regards,

Anybody please??

Hi People

I am guessing a lot of folks out here applying for 2171 or 2173. Such a thin line between the two. I have 5 years of experience as a Business analyst. I feel I should apply to 2171. What happens if CIC feels that my NOC should have been 2173(assume the cap has not reached for both). Do they reject the application or consider for the other NOC?? I did send a mail to noc-cnp@workingincanada.gc.ca to confirm on the NOC but there has been no response from their side. I do not want to miss out for choosing the wrong option.

Yes you can but I attached annexure instead of mention my duties in that small space. So in that small section write "Annexure 1" and mention your all duties mentioned on your reference letter on that extra paper. Name it "Annexure 1". Attach it with Schedule 3.

PCC is for the PA and any dependant (spouse, kids, etc) who are up to the age of 18 and above or 16 in some jurisdiction.

are you kidding me? I searched the whole excel sheet there's no such thing with that applicant username.

Kindly confirm and don't mislead people

Relax buddy! My message talks about 2013 case and not 2014 application so you won't find that user for 2014. You can check 2013 forum if you like. I understand your curiosity to be judgemental so no worries. I wish you get a good news for yourself soon. Good luck! :)
