Does it any negative impact sending application without PCC? I want to send application without PCC. Because collecting PCC will delay 10 days more for submission. What it could be written in explanation to CIC if I do not send PCC now. Though actual reason is Time, but i do not want it to mention.
please suggest.
Thank you.

I didn't send PCC at the initial stage, they asked PCC during MR.

You can send without PCC and furnish it later when asked. It is also mentioned in checklist.

Hi,

I recently came to know about the FSWP of Canada 2014. I am a software engineer(automation QA). I briefly went through theier process on the Canadian immigration website...and a few things that come to my mind are

1)Am I already too late for the process?

2)Can I apply individually or via a consultant like Y-Axis? asking for rs 80,000 +the mandatory fee for the VISA(around 1456 CAD)

3)ECA? Can I get it done through WES easily as an individual?

4)How to prepare for IELTS? and whats a good score?

and is there any timeline for submission of the application? and what if the sub-cap for software engineers and designers is already reached? if canadian authorities get more than the applications sub cap number, WOULD THERE BE A LOTTERY? and at what possible stages application could be rejected?

and will my fee be refunded in which of the possible cases of rejection?

hey ani!

1)Am I already too late for the process?
--> start it now if you are serious
2)Can I apply individually or via a consultant like Y-Axis? asking for rs 80,000 +the mandatory fee for the VISA(around 1456 CAD)
--> you have an option to do it on your own, but it's better if you have consultant since time is ticking for the 2174 and 2173 NOC which is applicable for you as QA automation Engineer.
3)ECA? Can I get it done through WES easily as an individual?
-->Yes, ECA can be done individually, just check their website and follow their instructions
4)How to prepare for IELTS? and whats a good score?
--> For each module, you have to get 6 points for listening, reading, writing and speaking.

and is there any timeline for submission of the application?
-> The submission started last may 1,2014 and probably ending by april 2015 also, same what happened for the 2013 fsw.
and what if the sub-cap for software engineers and designers is already reached?
-> the subcap for the 2173 once it is reached, your application will be returned.
if canadian authorities get more than the applications sub cap number, WOULD THERE BE A LOTTERY?
-> There's no such thing as lottery in applying for immigration but it is on a first come first served basis provided that you completed all your documents.
and at what possible stages application could be rejected?
-> it can be automatically rejected if your documents are lacking the necessary data that they need to proceed with your processing. Other than that, it's still up to the immigration officer holding your documents to verify the authenticity of it.
and will my fee be refunded in which of the possible cases of rejection?
-> it will be returned.

Thank You and see you in canada!

Well, you can call DHL customer care to find out what went wrong or you can relax like me and wait for God to take control. I also sent my application on 5/5/2014, it left Nova Scotia sort facility just like yours and I'm waiting for an update. Whenever the application arrives, what is yours will be yours . Cheers.
I faced all this, 1st time I used DHL inadvertently. Calling DHL is waste, But to quench ur anger u can call & bang them.
In their complaint box in website, paste the forum link shows we all won't use DHL henceforth.
If u ve sent on Monday it sd ve delivered b4 Friday.

Ur courier ll be delivered on Monday 2pm only.

I called NS, Canada customer care, but not seen any improvement.

Guys use only UPS or Fedex

at the very top of the form, see that "The principle applicant, their spouse . . . . . and all dependent children under 18 years of age or older must complete their own copy of this form.

so thus your spouse will be @ PA's box n u'll be @ spouses's box!! :P :P :P ;) ;) ;) ;D ;D ;D

Hi Bro

If you are really serious abt applying, better go for a consultant as this will be the first time you are applying and need to make it really fast.
ECA and IELTS will take time, so meanwhile you can gather all the other docs like reference letters, birth certificate, fish al the bank formalities.

all the best..

I have already applied for 2174 and have a question.

I have been working for the last 10 years. In 2012, I was employed with a company XYZ for only 2 months. Also, I did not have the reference letter for that company XYZ. So, I showed myself as "UNEMPLOYED" for that period because I did not want to earn points for that.

Is that OK? I hope it will not have an impact on my application. Please reply.

Not a problem if it is mentioned as unemployed. this two months will be considered as the searchig or buffer period for the next job.
