I think they take about 6 weeks to start the process, (atleast based on 2013 experience)

Not sure if it was due to the strike there last year at this time.


If thats the case, they are going to be much quicker this time.

1) Not good share the confidential DD No details etc.
2) It is the name of Bank of America, Canada Branch...

How will you know if it is encashed... I mean do you have a phone number that you can call and provide the DD number?

The bank on my DD reads - Bank of America, National Association, Canada Branch, Toronto

I got 2 reference letters signed and sent the original but it does not harm if you provide the copy. The only issue could be that they may ask for original one, which will waste time but on the other hand they won't return your original, so you may consider keeping it in hand for future references.

Proof of funds, better provide original if its account statement. If its fixed deposit then copy.

Did you submit original copy of your Company reference letter and Proof of Funds?
Or did you just submit copies?

What is the answer? So meaning if my spouse doesnt have IELTS but he is proficient in English still the answer is NO?

Unfortunatly, yes.

You can only claim her profciency if she has IELTS (or other acceptable test result). Otherwise, if you click YES, the application will be returned for "SPOUSE IELTS MISSING"

The purpose of this form is to evaluate your score and the question shud be "Are you claiming points for your wife's proficiency in English"

In your case NO.

The branch where I got the DD from did not give me a Call Center Number? Is it available on their website? So when you call them, you just provide the DD number I suppose...correct?
