Applicants from Punjab, what do we fill for "Immigration office requested for processing this application" in Generic form? Chandigarh or New Delhi? & what exactly needs to filled, just location name or something else?

Mention the Immigration office as New Delhi, India for applicants applying from any where in India...

I have not ECA done yet.... ECA from ICA will take 6-8 weeks....... Will I be late to apply or it 'll ok?

Apply for ECA from WES which will be able to process your application at the earliest...

Might depend on which NOC are you targetting?

Depends on your NOC, if it is one of the HOT NOC yes it may be late for others hopefully you wud be in time

Anyone finished schooling in Mumbai confirm this for me please....

Elementary/Primary School - 10 Years
Secondary/High School - 2 Years
University/College - 3 Years
Other Post Secondary School - 1 Year

OR

Elementary/Primary School - 4 Years
Secondary/High School - 6+2 = 8 Years
University/College - 3 Years
Other Post Secondary School - 1 Year

Another question guys, I'm confused what to fill for "Given name" & "Family name" ;D. Is SINGH as family name & <FIRST_NAME> as given name correct?

My Question ...1.Isnt it that they are taking so much time?....I will be applicant of hottest list and will b unable to achieve cap....!!!
2.what is your approximation on cap schedule seniors please guide....
3.Is it safe to send the application by the end of the month....!!!

Depends how it is entered in your passport

First Name: is Given name as per passport
Last Name: is Family/Sir name as per passport

If all of your name in passport is written in "Given Name" then Last Name is "N/A" or Not Applicable.

If other docs have different order or spelling, make use of Alias/Alternate name. Keep in mind that if its change in order/spellings no need to provide "Official doc for name change" otherwise, u will have to provide a proof.

Unfortunatly, it may be too late. What you can do is wait for their electronic copy. As soon as you get your electronic copy, complete your application and courier it to friend in Canada.

Also, apply for second WES copy to be sent to your friend in Canada, who can courier it to CIC on your behalf. This way you will be able to save 7-8 days (4-5 days of receiving the report from WES and 3-4 days of your application to reach Canada.

Application, couriered from within Canada through UPS takes only 1 day to reach CIC, Sydney. Also, in this case you wont require any "Use of Representative form" as he is only couriering it on your behalf without charging you for the service (except for courier charges).
