Hi,

Received my ECA from WES today. It mentions - " Bachelors Degree (3 years) and Masters".

I had submitted the docs for B.Com (H) and MBA

Please confirm me the points i can claim with this ECA result

23 for masters.

Hello I have a WES USA evaluation just issued about a week ago, can I request WES for a Canadian evaluation for FSWP? anyone has an idea?

O, isn`t this, 1st come first serve ?? Why do they have to wait for so long ?

Definitely it is first come first serve basis , but they charge the applicants only after verifying the docs and after making
sure that they are passing the required points threshold.It will be time consuming..

So let's all wait for the good news :)

Courier Service, My conclusion based on my exp and recent updates.
1) UPS - Did some achievements & some strongly recommended
2) Fedex - Always standard, ever green, its in top Fortune company list
3) DHL - Don't use it for NS or CIC purpose.
That's clearly correct 100%

I have some charts to prove this even further :)
Below are histograms which show number of applications delivered and how many work days it took.
This is based on the current data from the FSW 2014 spreadsheet.

Absolutely! WES Canada is different. I have a masters from US (no WES needed for US in this case), but I still requested WES Canadian equivalency FSWP.

HTH!

Good analysis . but why to consider business days for delivery. The package is in transition on weekends too.. So ideally total days should be considered to compare the delivery times of each service

Actually I've tried both with business days and calendar days. With business days the results are less scattered and more consistent. With calendar days the values just become more scattered (because the CIO is closed on weekends and because of delays in customs on weekends), but the result is still the same, UPS appears to be the fastest service.

Hello all, I have send my application to ICAs, since Wes did not accept the payment. and I just realized that they take 6 to 8 weeks to process. And WES only 10 days. Why does it take so long? will i have the chance to send the application before the caps are reach? Im applingo for NOC 2171. Please advice!!!

DHL and FedEx has 2-3 days delivery time from ON to NS, FedEx has NextFLight service but its not available everyday. UPS delivers it in a day (UPS Express/UPS Express saver services only)

Took about 5 days for my app! From ON to NS - Ridiculous!

I am afraid, it might be too late, you can consider ICAS a sunk cost and submit to WES once again.

Hi Ashif / Experts

I have almost everything ready for application- PC, IELTS, ECA report, forms, docs, BC ...but still struggling for Reference Letters from previous employers with job duties. Current Employer has given the letter without the job duties and salary but mentioned my current address, tenure, designation, and "For VISA purpose" also - Not sure if this is useful to some extent.

This is the current status:

Emp 1 - asking for about 1-2 weeks time
Emp 2 - not responding,
Emp 3 - struggling for approval;
Emp 4- Denied on mail and said not in policy;

I am having close to 9 years of experience, and have all other work exp related document (without the mention of job duties) .... Not sure what should i do now ...Wait for Reference Letter or send my application with whatever I have with an Solemn declaration ...pls advise

I am looking to apply with NOC 1112 or 0111 or 1114

Where did you get that button in Additional Family Information Form?

Century was right, no such check box. I referred to the wrong form so just fill one Additional Family Information form for primary applicant and another for spouse.
