Are you in requirement for Embedded Hardware and Software Engineer with over 10 years of experience for Dolby Labs? As well how is the job market for embedded developers in your region, any ideas?

For a CAP of 300 last year, they got filled in 25 days.
For a CAP of 1000 this year, it should be safe to say by 40-50 days. That's just a personal prediction and it could be earlier than that.

Obviously, there is no linear relationship between CAP and no. of days to fill the CAP because applicants apply in parallel from across the globe and many files will reach CIO on the same day. It's actually hard to predict.

Could anyone please post a DHL tracking timeline of their application from the time it arrived in Canada to delivery in CIO office. I just feel mine is taking way too long in Nova Scotia Area facility.

1) 7(a)have u received certificate frm qebec?what should be we choose .cant choose yes or no.should I keep it blank?
2) fields not relevant should be marked as blank or NA,as for some fields text cannot be written?
3) National identity document ,should I select NO or keep blank?
4) No of eductaion in total? I have done BE.so it should be 16 years?
5) stayed in parts in uk around 11 months but not continuous with some gaps.what would be start and end date in countries u stayed more then 6 months section in this case

I am showing fixed deposit.have attested fd from bank and filled the form indicated the amount in cad.

From Chennai, India 11pm 2nd May to Ontario 4th May 9:45pm, all local time, felt happy. Monday will be delivered or Tuesday Max.

But Now status is 'Departed Facility in NS' yesterday 4:15pm.
I think to night it will be delivered.

Overall, From India to canada in 2days.
Within Canada 3days if it is delivered today.
I made strong complaint also. Mentioned DHL is waste.. I shared in forum....

I need a help for my working experience.
I have 3.5 years of working experience in NOC2173 and I have been working in NOC2174 for last 2 years.

Currently I want to apply under NOC2174 which I have worked for only two years.
Does anyone know can I get points for all 5.5 years of experience, or CIC will give me points only for 2 years ?

And, how many points can I get from my working experinece?

You will get points for full 5.5 year experience. As per CIC you need to be working for the last 2 years in the profession you are going to apply.

What is the minimum amount of time required to stay in Canada for a PR holder!
One needs to stay continuous for 2 years for citizenship!

Earlier it was 3 of 4 years, now I think they revised to 4 of 5 years. I'll need to look up the CIC site for accurate information. It can be in continuity or breaks. They actually count by number of days.

I registered on Monster.ca, Workopolis.com, Indeed.ca and official job site of the CIC. (which is like employment exchange in India). You can easily find it.
However, I got job from reference in US.

I'm not a programmer. My profile is different from Embedded and far away for any smallest piece of software code. I'm looking for Product qualification and licensing. That also includes territory development and localized client support.
No idea of the job market. Will be landing this 9 for 2 week Holidaying.

I too suspect that. And I believe you will definitely be able to remain in CAP since the program opening was only a week ago. An important piece of advice to everyone who's reading this:- don't do proof reading of your application just on your own repeatedly. A person tend to skip the same mistake again and again - that's a scientific fact. Once, you think you can't find a mistake in your application, get them verified again with a second person and then a third person before sending the package.

Yeah you are right. Same is the case with my application last update was :

Departed Facility in NOVA SCOTIA AREA - CANADA NOVA SCOTIA AREA, NS - CANADA 16:17

That is why I was trying to see what is the normal timeline within Canada.

If your spouse's IELTS is more than two years old - then the results have expired and there is no point sending them. You won't get adaptability points for your spouse's language abilities because the test results are too old.
