one question to the seniors here, how many cases on an average get rejected despite being under the cap due to any possible anomaly?? any idea of % rejections?

If your spouse's IELTS is more than two years old - then the results have expired and there is no point sending them. You won't get adaptability points for your spouse's language abilities because the test results are too old.

i have total 10 years of exp in IT ....3 + year as Business Analyst ..rest as designer, developer....In this case CIC will consider whole 10 or only 3+ if i will go Analyst

My current organization given what CIC needs but not previous ones ..What should be done

For a CAP of 300 last year, they got filled in 25 days.
For a CAP of 1000 this year, it should be safe to say by 40-50 days. That's just a personal prediction and it could be earlier than that.

Obviously, there is no linear relationship between CAP and no. of days to fill the CAP because applicants apply in parallel from across the globe and many files will reach CIO on the same day. It's actually hard to predict.

Departed Facility in NOVA SCOTIA AREA - CANADA NOVA SCOTIA AREA, NS - CANADA 16:17

That is why I was trying to see what is the normal timeline within Canada.

I used fedex b4. Within canada Max 2days. But DHL taking 3rd day still not delivered. When u sent & from where?

Earlier it was 3 of 4 years, now I think they revised to 4 of 5 years. I'll need to look up the CIC site for accurate information. It can be in continuity or breaks. They actually count by number of days.

I registered on Monster.ca, Workopolis.com, Indeed.ca and official job site of the CIC. (which is like employment exchange in India). You can easily find it.
However, I got job from reference in US.

I'm not a programmer. My profile is different from Embedded and far away for any smallest piece of software code. I'm looking for Product qualification and licensing. That also includes territory development and localized client support.
No idea of the job market. Will be landing this 9 for 2 week Holidaying.

I too suspect that. And I believe you will definitely be able to remain in CAP since the program opening was only a week ago. An important piece of advice to everyone who's reading this:- don't do proof reading of your application just on your own repeatedly. A person tend to skip the same mistake again and again - that's a scientific fact. Once, you think you can't find a mistake in your application, get them verified again with a second person and then a third person before sending the package.

Its the person from whom u are taking ur work reference letter...

U can take either from HR or ur Line Manager....

Do you guys think if i send my file under 1112 by 15th? would there be any chance i will be under cap? I am trying to get it done asap but still will take that much time. 1000 cap is good enough when it took 25 days to fill 300? what say brothers?

I have two roles and responsibilities letter from my company(soft copies).
first i took 4-5 months ago for australian pr
second i took yesteray for canadian pr.

issue combining the roles n responsibilies of both the letter would match the NOC.

can i send both the letters?there might be question why two letters?
