Hello all do i need to get my Passport copy attested???

No

Hello Friends,

I have a query regarding work experience, I have overall 8.5 years of work experience, with the last 3.5 years Database Administration and previous 5 years work experience as Software Engineer. Now I am planning to apply FSW in 2172 (DBA) Category. In this case how much experience will be assessed by CIC ?

Can somebody throw some light here, as this will help me decide next action.

Thanks in advance.

Guys,

I have noticed one amongst the members in this forum had revealed the UPS AWB number.
Please don't do that. It is too risky and any intruder can play around with such sensitive information.
An individual may paste the delivery routes but never AWB number.

Regards,

I agree.

No brother if u have experience , then relevant educational experience is not required...

these degrees are mentioned to get a job once u are in Canada..:)

Thanks ashif for your quick turn around.

Does that mean my Bachelor in Electronics Engineering will be fine? I have also Master degree from London but the college doesn't seems to be exist anymore.

So, i am planning to do Evaluation for my Bachelor(Only claiming the point for my bachelor ) and submit my Master result without doing WES.
Would that be fine?

Dear Brother,

Its a long debating issue...Some ppl say its for whole exp yrs...Some say its for only primary NOC Exp...

CIC has not stated this so clearly....

So it will much better if u calculate the primary NOC code exp yr...Just to be on safe side...:)

Ur indication about filling the the form is right...when u are single..as u mentioned below is the forms:

    2) Regarding 'what needs filling' vs 'what not' as a single applicant
    a) Forms a single applicant must fill
    • imm5669E - Schedule A - Background & Declaration
    • IMM5620E - Fee Payment Form - Application for PR
    • IMM5612E - Document Checklist PR - FSWC
    • IMM5562E - Supplementary Information - Your travels
    • IMM5406E - Additional Family Information
    • IMM0008ENU_2D - Generic Application Form for Canada
    • imm0008_3e- Schedule 3 Economic Classes - Federal Silled Workers

And no need to fill other one...u dont need to send the below forms that u mentioned (no need send these by writing NOT APPLICABLE)

    b) And to my knowledge a single applicant can avoid submitting
    • IMM0008DEPENU - Additional Dependants and Declaration Form
    • IMM5476E - Use of a Representative
    • IMM5604E - Declaration from Non-Accompanying Parent or Guardian for Children Immigrating to Canada

Thanks Ashif, really appreciate your reply.

How about Form IMM5409E - Statutory Declaration of Common Law-Union needs filling or avoid submitting as a single applicant ?

Also, can you confirm these are all the forms I need to fill and send or bring to my attention anything I missed.

It is suggested to be assessed all of ur higher educations...

If u are now willing to avoid ur masters then its up to CIC how they gonna leave this...

I agree. CIC should be counting points for both NOCs because both are skilled categories but this is not clearly mentioned anywhere. Better count only DBA experience for your purpose. If you already cross 67, no worries, rest is bonus. Good luck!
