Hi,

Yesterday i tried applying for my ECA at wes.org. I got an error saying 500 Internal server error, when i pressed back button my credit card got billed and also i got confirmation saying than you for submitting application.

But i did not receive any reference number. Do we get it immediately or does it take time for WES to allocate a ref number.

I tried calling WES yday but i was on hold for almost 45 mins and could not get to a representative.

Have you loged in: account in the top right of the page?

Please can someone let me know what to do, should i do another payment and see.?

Hi Admin,

If someone is applying from within Canada.
In your spreadsheet entry, the VISA office has no option for Ottawa.

What should I enter ?

Officially that visa office is called CPC-O. I've just changed it to CPC-Ottawa, I hope this way it will be more clear for other new applicants.

Go to principal page, look for "account" on the top of the page, log with your credentials and the ref number will benp there

If your card is from an Indian Bank, then you would receive a text as soon as the money gets deducted from your card. The message contains the Billers name, last four digits of your card and the amount billed. Just send those details, it would be sufficient.

Even from USA it took 4 days to reach your courier to canada?

On the topic, it took my application 5 days to reach Sydney from Chicago, even though sometimes it takes less to deliver from other continents. FedEx promised me an overnight delivery, but when I brought the application, they said they don't do overnight deliveries to this particular part of Canada. Surprise!

R u in spreadsheet, I am unable to see u. Y it taken so much time from California to Sydney, NS, 8 days.

I am on line 142 in the sheet. My package reached on May 1st at 10:11. Were you able to check with your carrier? Did they not give you expected delivery date?

yes, it takes 24 hours to clear packages from Canada customs in Mirabel alone. Remaining time for shipping and delivery.

Hi,

Is FSWP cap first come first serve basis, I will be sending my application around 24 (courier type will be 1/2 days delivery). Do i have a chance , i am planning to applying in Software Engineer / Software Programmer.

Also what if my occupation falls in two or more categories , how do i mention in application for consideration. the reason being my work falls in three NOC categories (2133 ,2173 ,2174 ).

In application where do i mention the NOC number i dont find a field for that, the only thing i find is intended occupation.

I checked that but i dont see any reference number, i had started another application when i did not get ref number only the incomplete application is shown.

Admins, please remove my first entry. Meant to update it instead. Now I've saved the edit link... sorry for the trouble caused.

Actually, it has been always working this way, maybe in your case someone of the admins has removed your old entry so quickly you didn't even notice it

Making a duplicate entry for the sake of having an edit link - it's a much lesser trouble than posting 10 messages to the forum in future, when you'll need admins to update your info each time your application status changes. With a huge amount of applications it's much more manageable when everyone has their own edit link. Duplicates are not an issue, we're removing them from time to time

No, because they did not ask for it. CIC did mention not to attach any documents which are not asked to be attached. Good luck!

1. If you have got tracing #, 3-4 days max but usually there is a lag between "dispatched" and actual pickup
2. Dual language docs are acceptable, if required info is in English/French in this case D.o.B, your name and parents name.

2) Regarding 'what needs filling' vs 'what not' as a single applicant
a) Forms a single applicant must fill

• IMM5562E - Supplementary Information - Your travels
• IMM5406E - Additional Family Information

• imm0008_3e- Schedule 3 Economic Classes - Federal Silled Workers
  

b) And to my knowledge a single applicant can avoid submitting

• IMM0008DEPENU - Additional Dependants and Declaration Form
• IMM5476E - Use of a Representative
• IMM5604E - Declaration from Non-Accompanying Parent or Guardian for Children Immigrating to Canada

3) Not required documents
Do I still have to fill it marking NA or just avoid sending it altogether?

Hi.

1) In WES site. When u login with ur credentials, under your profile you will be able to find the status and tracking number. Click on it and you should get the approx. Time of delivery..
2) As your birth cert already has english translation then u donot need another translation or affidavit. . You can simply submit copy of it if possible get the copy attested as true copy.
