Experts need your help please!! Posted the below quesy sometime back...

I have finally submitted my application I have not submitted the PCC as of now and will be submitting if i am asked for it. I need to know the procedure for getting PCC for USA. I understand that i need to provide finger prints for myself and my spouse on the form to FBI. Can i take finger prints on my own or need to get this done from an agency? The aganecy is asking a lot of money for it. Please do help me with this.

Thanks a bunch!

Where do we get the UCI number?
Can a National Identity Document be a driver's license?
It is said that the form should be printed in a laser printer. Is it really necessary? Coz I only have an inkjet printer. Thanks!

Its not a problem.
CIC recognized that some institution doesnt even release transcripts which is why they said"if available".
So far you include photocopies of your degree......you are flying high in that aspect assuming you all other things in the check list in place.

Thank you, I sincerely appreciate your response.

Brother,

1. If u applied earlier, then u would get a UCI number for that application.

2. No

3. Laser is preferably better but not mandatory..

Thanks Kollins

On my way home, I figured it out. :P
But what I meant was where could I find the rules or regulations regarding for marital status change in CIC website?
I just need to study on this.
Could anyone advice?

Thank you.
And where can I be able to +1 on others?
I would like to show my appreciation. [/color]
The rule regarding this is specifically stated on the first page of the document checklist(please check it).
Alternatively, check this link (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp) with emphasis on the highlited cut out phrase
"Medical requirements

All applicants must undergo a medical examination.

You and your family members, whether they will be accompanying you or not, must undergo and pass a medical examination. To pass the medical examination you or your family members must not have a condition that:

is a danger to public health or safety, or
would cause excessive demand on health or social services in Canada.
Examples of “excessive demand” include ongoing hospitalization or institutional care for a physical or mental illness.

Important information. You must inform us immediately of any change in your marital status or your family composition (e.g. marriage, common-law relationship, separation, divorce, birth of a child, adoption of a child, death, etc). Any family member who has not been examined before you become a permanent resident can never be sponsored by you in the future."

On your last equiry, seems you will be entitled to give +1 after your 20th post.

Brother Finger prints need to be done from authority like local police/sherrif's office..(my wife did her own from local police dept.).

U cant do it by urself..

Here u go:

FBI Report inside USA

"Applicants should provide a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) certificate with fingerprints. State certificates may also be requested. The Visa Office will advise you if state certificates are required in your case.

How and where do I obtain one?

From: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/north-america/united-states.asp

You should:
-get a cover letter and fingerprint card from the FBI. You can download these from the FBI website or write to the address below and have them mailed to you.
-have fingerprints taken. You can have this done by:
-a local police department or
-a private fingerprinting business.
(When you have your fingerprints taken, you will need photo identification.)

include a Certified cheque or money order for the fees, payable to the U.S. Treasury
mail the letter, fingerprints and fee payment to:

FBI, Criminal Justice Information Services Division
Attention: SCU, Mod D-2
1000 Custer Hollow Road
Clarksburg, West Virginia 26306
U.S.A.

Processing times are normally between 16 and 18 weeks. The FBI will send you a letter with the results of their record check. That letter will be your police certificate. You should send the letter and any attached documents to the Citizenship and Immigration Canada office processing your file. All police certificates must be originals. Photocopies will not be accepted by our office. "

It takes around 4-6 weeks to come back.

What will be `National Identity Document' when applying from India.

Indian Applicants do not require to fill the field -National Identity Document.

So keep that field blank on generic form...:)

I finished a 4-year Bachelor's degree here in my country, but my WES evaluation result is only 2-year college diploma. Although I only got 19 points for education, my total points is still 70.

I have read that:
If you have specified an occupation on your application that requires provincial/territorial licensing, and CIC has designated a professional body for that occupation, you must provide an original ECA report issued by the designated professional body indicating that your completed foreign educational credential is equivalent to the Canadian educational credential required to practice that occupation in one or more provinces or territories in Canada.

But the licensing body for my occupation requires 3 or 4 years of bachelor's degree. Would I qualify?

Dear Brother,

This requirement is for In Canadian employment...

It will not require to fulfill this right now for the FSW application...:)

where can I find links to the page/progress records that shows how many applications are presently received for each NOC??

THANKS!

Finally I applied at WES. I paid via Credit Card and chose express delivery and paid $300 Canadian Dollar and I got a ref no. But I didnt get any confirmation email and this worries me. Now If I goto My Account In WES and try to see order status it gives me not found error. Feeling really frustrated. Later I contact WES via their contact page describing the problem and got a confirmation mail that says they received my complain. :(

Did I do anything wrong? Please help me. :(
