Hello friends..

I have made a mistake in my application. For point 7c in Economic Class form i marked 'Yes' for my spouse's proficiency in English. But, she has not given ielts and i dint include the ielts for her.

I am not claiming adaptibility points for her but my concern is while my application be rejected because is incomplete/incorrect.?

Any thoughts???
I would not say it will be rejected even though I cant confidently say it will be accepted.
What I am sure is that your application may be accepted if you reach the minimum points of 67 since you wont be needing your spouse IELTS to compliment you with additional 5 marks.
I have 70% assurance it will be accepted but I cant categorically assure you as I do not know the mind of the CIO officer that will attend to you.

No, the main reason was that i was claiming points for that experience too and that was not considered because of missing job duties..!!

Thanks for the response. To further clarify, I also have one previous experience (of 20 days duration only) for which i have only submitted the standard experience letter (without duties) with the category: 2171, however i am not banking on this as my other experience of 8 years has well defined (with duties for 2171) job reference letters.

Am just worried that not having the job duties (in experience letter) for 20 days experience would not have any problem. Can you suggest your feedback please

friends,

i had applied for quebec in 2013 July and then withdrew the application in October after they changed the rules regarding french proficiency with retrospective effect.

do i need to mention the same in the generic form or do i say i applied and withdrew in a separate note.

kindly help

That's not at all any problem. YOu only need to show experience for which you are claiming points for.!

Hi sjasim,
You can use this link to enter your information again: http://tinyurl.com/FSW14-Entry
After you submit the form, it will give you "Edit your information" link which you should save for future, to be able to update your info later.
Don't worry about the older duplicate entry - I'll delete it after you submit the editable entry.
These instructions are recommended for other members as well, who don't have a link to edit their info yet.
This way it will be much easier to maintain huge amount of applications in the spreadsheet in long term.

Thank you for notification :) Done.

Thanks for the help. I have bookmarked the editing page now. Please delete my previous two duplicate entries.

Its 19points.
What do you mean by CIO gave 5 points last year?
If they give you 5 points last year, then the academic qualification is not Post secondary school qualification so it will be the same if you apply again.
19 points is 2 years post secondary schools while 5 points is secondary school.
Thanks Kollins. But I really surprised when Assessing officer gave 5 points as I understood that Two Year Undergraduate study is equivalent to Two years post secondary. I searched on Wikipedia & they mentioned Two years Undergraduate as Associate Degree which as per table is eligible for 19 points.
So shall I attach that with evaluation and a make a note for assessing officer? Will it help?
Further last year I applied under 1112 category so can I apply under 0111 category this time?

Hi,

For the Schedule 3 form, when I searched I found it there in CIC and (MAY 2013) next to the name, so I used the one I filled last year.
After sending my application I found that inside the form the footer says (8-2013) and there is one different:
in 3b "ESDC" in the new form instead of "HRSDC" in the old form.

What should I do now? resend the whole package? or just this form explaining what happened?

Please advise as soon as possible as I already sent my application.

Thanks jayesh for the response. Much appreciated.

One final comment, as you mentioned that one only needs to show experience for the jobs for which one is claiming points for, i understand that in Schedule 3 (only place where experience is mentioned for claiming points) i have provided the NOC code as 2171 for all the experiences including the 20 days experience as well. Since in this scenario, my overall experience is more that 6 years, i would get the required points for attaining 67 (assuming all other areas points are also counted), therefore not having the 20 days duties will not affect. Is this understanding correct Sir?

hii everyone..

please help..

can i attach my PF statement as proof of funds..
i am showing savings account and FDRs.. if i ad my PF amount it will add 1000 CAD extra..!! please help..

Help guys..!!
Help guys..!!

Yes, it will be considered. Apart from the PF statement signed and stamped by the relevant authority, get a letter from HR/relevant department how much has been accrued in your account, how much you can withdraw and what are the way you can withdraw, and how long it will take to draw the amount. The objective is to prove that your fund can be liquidated within a very short time.

Just note that generally employee can withdraw PF in two way: 1. at the time of leaving the job 2. if employee apply for membership to be stopped.

One more note. You pay slips and your salary details should also show PF amount.

It is not about what you feel but what CIO feels!
CIO doesnt make reference to wikipedia links but to the directives given to them.
If they gave you 5points last year, its possible that same will be given to you this year since they follow the same principles and guidelines.
Maybe you can explore other factors to boost your points to 67 if possible.
By their evaluation, how many points did the the CIO give you as overall last time?
