Hi Guys,

1) Regarding Work Experience
Can I just submit last 2-3 years of experience rather than showing more, since last 10 years experience is asked very clearly in the Checklist. I have over 6 yrs of experience altogether but only last 2.5 is relevant to my NOC code. Can I ignore to give them the entire history.

2) Regarding Birth Certificate
I have come across people discussing Birth Certificates. Why is a Birth Certificate required and is it mandatory? Mine is in Japanese since I was born in Japan and only have photocopies of English translation, will that be ok to submit? They will never ask for originals, will they? And also whats with getting them notarized? Is that required too?

1. Apart from your intended NOC, you can get points if your other NOC is Skill Type 0 (managerial occupations), Skill Level A (professional occupations) or B (technical occupations and skilled trades).
2. You will require affidavit from the person who translated the birth certificate plus a certified copy of the original birth certificate. You can also think of the below alternative that i copied from a reply of rawdah:

"Alternatives to birth certificate are as follows in CIC's own words

We do accept Secondary school records that contain the following :

Applicant's Name
Date of Birth
Name of Parent/Parents

If you are not able to provide a Birth certificate with all 3 criteria, we require an affidavit stating all of this information or that a Birth certificate cannot be attained.

So 10th standard school certificate or an affidavit containing applicants name, date of birth and Parent/Parents name should be fine in lieu of a birth certificate. Also you must give reason in a cover letter why you were not able to provide birth certificate and that you are providing 10th standard school certificate / affidavit in lieu of birth certificate."

You will have to tick Yes for them to accompany you. When you get your PR visa, you as Principal Applicant can land alone in Canada first and your wife & kid can join you later (as long as their visas are valid). IF you tick NO, they will not get visas (I am not even sure if Local Visa Office will process your app or not) and than it'll take ages if you sponsor them later on. For now, you'll have to show 3 persons funds.

i would like to add some important issues on POF
POF should be PA's name or accompany spouse name u cant show POF if ur spouse is not accompanying u as a dependent

i think u understand

Dear admins,

I have one confusion about spouse's education credentials (graduation certificates) and work experience letters (offers, relieving) , pls help.
I don't see these two things mentioned in the checklist, do we need to attach these documents for spouse?

Thanks..

NO, you don't need to attach those documents.

As I was reading the proof of funds requirement,
it was indicated that stocks can be used for this purpose.

So here's my question,
what value from the statement of account of my stocks account will be used for the 'proof of funds'?
is it the Net Portfolio Value?

Hi friends,

I have received my WES Evaluation report and i noticed one change in my name. In the passport my name is written as, Given name - Albin and Surname-

Kanukal John and name written in my educational documents is Albin K John.

But,in my WES report name is written as JOHN, Albin Kanukal (K)

My name's entire part is mentioned correctly with slight change in surname and given name. Date of birth and other details are absolutely correct.

Does it make any problem when CIC considering my WES report ?

Please replay me friends

Thanks in advance.

Regards.

Hi,

hi friends,
just a quick questions, I am going to hire a consultant for FSW tomorrow.
my occupation is System Administrator,

I have booked IELTS on 10th June 2014, next month..

Come to the question:
I will take IELTS on 10th June and get the result on 25th or 26th June. (i am afraid about the cap)

1) Can I start my application before that
or is IELTS necessary at the first stage?

2) Can I start my application and submit the report later?

3) Some people say that the processing time would be 4-5Months this time?

also do i need to show proof of fund and PCC along with this application
because in the document checklist they mentioned proof of fund and document checklist

plus
I am applying for system administrator so i would wait for ielts for more 2 month, what do u expect about the cap?
if I apply after 2 month the cap of "computer network technicians - 2281" might get full

waiting for helpful responses....
