Dear Bangladeshi friends,

I have few more queries:

1. As the bank draft in Bangladesh can only be taken from Standard Chartered Bank, do they accept bank statements and letter for settlement funds from other banks? Please comment.

2. Is combination of Fixed deposit, and savings balance acceptable for settlement funds?

3. Also as you know Bangladesh National ID cards don't have expiry dates , in this case did you include your national id info or left it blank?

Friend, here is my response to your queries:
1. DD is only SCB. For bank statement and settlement fund, any bank and financial institute will do.
2. Yes.
3. I include the NID but left the expiry date blank. Note that you have to provide copy of NID with the application package. CIC will certainly notice that there is no expry date of our NID.

My uncle is PR holder in canada and he is living retired life. He left india just before 2 months. I want to show him as my relative to get addaptability point. He has following documens: PR card,Health card,birthcertificate,marriage cerificate. I want to know this documents are enough or I need to collect more documents from him...

You also need to get some recent bill invoice such as credit card, water/electricity bill. The bill must contain his name and address. This is required to prove that he currently lives in Canada.

Actually problem is my uncle is staying in his son's house and so all bills are coming on my uncle's son name.

oh iam sorry didn't noticed, but why is that so.?u can use the other option, but still if your does not have letter head then it may create bad impact..can u please share the reason

I dont know about your country of residence but in India companies are reluctant to provide details such as duties and responsibilities in reference letter. They will only provide Duration, Designation. Not even salary last drawn. So that's why I need this info...

I agree with this post. No one purposely misled anyway and CIC were always indicating that they would move to EOI. At the end of the day, if you ask a question on a forum, you will get someone's personal opinion and it is up to you whether to accept it or make your own decision. If someone had told you there would be a fSWP 2014 and you spent thousands of dollars but there was no program, you'd be more upset. I am a candidate from last year and missed the cap, even I thought that was the last chance on points.

Just be happy the program re-opened and the cap is 1000. You still have a good chance. I sat IELTS on May 17 last year and still only missed the cap by 2 weeks when it was only 300. Best if luck.

This should just be seen as a precious chance rather than criticizing others.
The cap is much for this stream........let us make good use of the opportunity.It's the end that justifies the means.

I did my bachelor's from Pakistan, NED and got all my things attested from HEC for my study visa. I am done with my masters from Canada and got Canadian degree.

1) Do I still need to go for WES evaluation for my bachelor's degree and all secondary documents?
2) If yes, how can I send my things from Canada to HEC and then to WES?
3) Which original documents are supposed to be sent to HEC (everything original has already been verified 2 years ago)?
4) What things to be sent to WES?

Hi,

Did you open the form to the see the difference on the footer? Thou it still shows May 2013 the footer changed by the 1st of May 2014 from 05 - 2013 to 08 - 2013.

I did mention the footer in my post not the date on the link. If you downloaded your form before the 1st of May you will notice the difference.

1 you only need to evaluate your bachelors no need for secondary education
2 you cn send documents for evalutn in two (1) ur university have to send transcripts directly to wes (2) if u cn get ur bachelors degree marksheets attestd from the controller of examination or registrar and wes form in a seald envolp with university stamp and send it by urself to wes
3 I dun thnk university need any original documents thy jst need copies
4 u hv to send transcripts or attestd markshhets as I mentd abv and legible copies along with it
