Hi friends,

i have a tricky Qn,
i have 8.5 years of work exp, but able to get reference letters with job duties only for 2 jobs as below:

1) NOC 1112 - 3 Years 4 Months
2) NOC 1114 - 1 Year 10 M

Please advise how the Work Exp points can be judged if I apply under NOC1112?

it will be 11 points for 3 Years 4 Months for main NOC or the total points for 5Years 2 Months making it to 13 points

however, have all other documents related to remaining duration of work experience, apart from reference letter with job duties .....any chance that i can get 15 points in this case

There are many on this forum who do an excellent job in guiding potential applicants and directing them on how to correctly file an application. You guys are wonderful and thank you for what you do! I am truly disappointed to say that there are some bad people on this forum, too, who did the opposite. Back in March and early parts of April, many people came and inquired on the various Canadavisa forums whether FSW will be open this year. Some convincingly said that it wouldn't (I don't remember their handle names - I wish I did). Their answers misled me, resulting in me not organizing myself or collecting the numerous paperwork that are needed to successfully file an application. When the government finally did announce that there was going to be FSW on April 23rd, it stressed me out to the maximum and collecting all the documents took me more time than it should have. I am sure there must be others on these forums who, too, must be upset at those who misled them. Shame on you guys who misled us! You all know who you are.

Yes I am misled too but still I did collected all docs that time and so I can apply this time easily!

Friends I am sorry for repeating this post but I cant seem to get an answer. So if anyone can help me out. I would be very thankful.

I am a bit confused about the ECA for doctors as I plan to apply for Specialst Category NOC 3111. I understand that my Primary Medical Degree (MBBS) will be given ECA through Medical Council of Canada but what about my Specialty Diploma? MCC website states that they are designated by Govt of Canada to give ECA for Primary Medical Qualification. However the CIC website states that all applicants under Family Physician and Specialist Physician must apply for ECA of their qualifications with the MCC. Am really confused what to do. I have e-mailed both MCC and CIC but so far there is no response from them. This is delaying my application. Any advice or knowledge in this regard would be greatly appreciated.

Well I am new here I understand your frustration but most of the people didnt think that there would be FSWP for 2014. Specially after the news about Express Entry or Expression of interest program starting in 2015.

Guys,

Will it be alright to show just one month bank statement reflecting the CAD$12,000 as I am a single applicant. Or you suggest I send them atleast 3 - 6 months statements. I'll putting in more than 70% of this amount now. Is it okay if they see sudden injection of money in the account?

Can anybody confirm whether or not just one month statement will do the trick?

You can show bank certificate reflecting the current amount of your account, as for the bank statement, I gathered atleast 6 months from current date, say today is may, I have on my bank statement from December 2013 - May 2014.

I want to believe that no one sent their application until the 1st because the schedule 3 form was changed if you check closely at the footer date. Previous form had 05 - 2013 while the new form currently have 08 - 2013. The date suddenly changed overnight.

Just my observation anyway.

Good luck to us as we look forward to faster turnaround this time.

Hi Friends, May be I'm repeating the questions already asked in this forum. Please redirect me to the topic if that is answered already.My question is :
I'm planning to get the reference letter from one of my colleague from previous company since the company is not helping me to get a reference letter with duties and responsibilities as CIC is expecting. So I'm planning for both of the letters mentioned below.

1. Do i have to get the reference letter from a colleague done in a stamp paper (In that case what is amount of stamp paper in India) notarized ? or It has to be in a plain paper describing duties and responsibilities, hours, salary etc. with their contact details and business card

2. Also do I have to submit a affidavit or statuary declaration in a stamp paper stating the above reference letter is true (In that case what is amount of stamp paper in India) notarized?

Buddy in my point of view .You should get full points as long as your occupation is falling in 0,A and B.dats wat is written on cic website as wel..u can take comments from seniors as well

Sir i dont think people on sites are misguiding. These opening of fsw 2014 is unexpected . Bcz cic always says of opening eoi in 2015. I saw one planning mail in nov 2013. In which they declare plans fow fsw.

Is the form Additional Dependants/Declaratioin (IMM 0008DEP) needed? I have myself, my wife and my kid in the application who I have already mentioned in Generic Application Form. Is IMM 0008DEP optional? Look forward to your answer

A couple more things.

1) Fees
Fees for the application is CAD$550 right? And when does this actually get debited of your CC?

2) Bachelor degree certificate/transcripts attestation
a) WES on its website clearly spells the need for the applicants with Indian degree to send their Degree Certificate themselves and Transcripts directly by their institution. So can I just send them a color copy of my degree certificate or does it have to be attested/notarized by someone?

b) Regarding the transcripts, the first 4 came from my colleges affiliated with Mumbai University and last two from Mumbai University as you would know. Now when I visit the Registrar's office will be they able to attest all 6 marksheets verifying the original then and there or will they only attest the last two since the last exams were only held by the University? Just so you know my college transcripts do mention 'University of Mumbai' on the very top in small letters.

My understanding from CIC guidelines is as long as your occupation is in Skill 0, A, B you will be getting points for those occupation. Only thing is your primary occupation (NOC you are applying) with which you are eligible should be a minimum one full year full time or part time equivalent... Please read the guidelines once carefully you will understand. I'm on the same track as you... All the best...
