Hello members of the forum.

I would be very grateful to you if you can clear my doubts :-

1) Should all the forms be types/printed in BLOCK letters ? is that mandatory ?

2) Question 7 of Generic Application form for Canada - Have you received your certificate de Selection du Quebec and there are just 2 options- "Yes/No" . But for option "No" they are asking when I have applied fo CSQ which I have not done. The best anser will be in my case is "n/A" which i case is same fo most applicant. What should I fill in ?

3) Additional Family Information - It is written that all name should be in English as well as in native language? Cannot we fill up the form just in english because all software do not support native scripts

4) Schedule A (back ground check) - Question 2....is that mandatory to fill in ? Cannot that be typed in english ?

5) In my case as I am from India my Proof of Funds will be in INR.So in the application , do I need to convert it to Canadian dollar ( as per the last exchanage Rate) and attached a separate parer with how much it is coming to in CAD?

6) The DD for processing feed needs to be stapled with the Fees payment Form and send in the same application package ?
Here are your answers:
1. It is not mandatory to write in caps but if you do it's good.
2. You don't have to select anything as when you select Economic class and skilled worker it will automatically disabled.
3. only English not in native language.
4. Take print of form and then write with black pen for your native language.
5. Yes you can attach extra sheet and mention in that how much CAD it is worth.
6. You don't need to staple it. Just attach with paper clip. And yes you need to send in same application package.!

But last year I was surprised to check the CIC website and only in Aug 2013 saw the CAP reached. What is the basis for claims that CAP reached in 3 weeks or 45 days last year ?

Because of lots of applications they get it delays in numbers to update for CIC. That's the only reason.!

Yes I think till the end of may it is safe as number of caps are increased. For delivery time you need to contact your courier.

Ok may be that is right. I hope ECA and IELTS results may be used in Express Entry which opens in January 2015. Still I would apply.

Yes ECA and IELTS will be very useful. So Get it done and try this time as well. If lucky you'll get through. If not you'll get your money back. And of course you can try on express entry as well. Good luck!

Hi, I am working as a CREDIT Analyst in a Credit rating agency in india for last 11 months. Previously, I was working as Assistant Professor, in a State University Affiliated college for almost 4 years. I have a specific query:

As per NOC, I have performed all duties of university lecturer but of research publications. I do not have any publications but I can substantiate all other duties with some strong evidence. I am asking this question, cz I applied for Australian Skill assessment for PR and there they have asked to me come with published research papers.

I am MBA and FRM and CFA.

If you have done 80% of job, you should be eligible. No where I found research is mandatory in the web - NOC 4011 is for Professors and Lecturers. Lecturers might not be expected to have published research paper.

1) If your Father & elder brother are Dependents in your application then no required to submit their PCC.
2) Reference letters from employers should be submitted in original.
3) If you stayed more than 6 momths in any country with in last 10 years then you need to submit PCC from that country.
4) National ID : Example Aadhar ID from India.a

Thanks Sreeramp for the info

but, for query no3 ..PCC is only needed if the stay is consecutive....but i was asking about residence details out of home country ..

somewhere is the earlier posts i read "Aadhar" is not National Id documents...so confused ...what else could ...PAN, Voter Card

Yes Aadhar card can't be used as national ID. Driving license is okay. And its not mandatory to give. YOu can select "No".

can u please take a look if my job description fits NOC2174 as multimedia developer? Great thx!

He was working on two projects: 3DTV and intelligent management for adaptive video streaming. In the first project, his role was to improve the visual quality for 3DTV application. In the second project, he was responsible to propose and optimize the configurations for adaptive streaming in the application of WebTV and 2nd screen. The purpose was to provide higher quality of experience for clients to watch video over Internet than existing streaming techniques. He also took part in various software evaluation and implementations, e.g., the demonstration of Low-Latency Video Delivery through HTTP Layered streaming, which provides lower latency than the standard Apple Internet streaming technique.

There are many on this forum who do an excellent job in guiding potential applicants and directing them on how to correctly file an application. You guys are wonderful and thank you for what you do! I am truly disappointed to say that there are some bad people on this forum, too, who did the opposite. Back in March and early parts of April, many people came and inquired on the various Canadavisa forums whether FSW will be open this year. Some convincingly said that it wouldn't (I don't remember their handle names - I wish I did). Their answers misled me, resulting in me not organizing myself or collecting the numerous paperwork that are needed to successfully file an application. When the government finally did announce that there was going to be FSW on April 23rd, it stressed me out to the maximum and collecting all the documents took me more time than it should have. I am sure there must be others on these forums who, too, must be upset at those who misled them. Shame on you guys who misled us! You all know who you are.
