where's the sheet?

i sent my documents on 2nd May - and will reach CIC on 7th.

Few quick queries: Please help

1) My Father & elder brother are not my Dependents. Do i still need to submit PCC for my Father and elder Brother & his wife?
2) Reference letters from employers have to be submitted in original or copies will suffice?
3) Previous country of residence: I was out of home country on 2 occasions (2010 & 2011) on work permit for more than 6 months if duration is taken together but less than 6 months in single stay. Please advise if i still have to give stay details
4) National Id Document: Which Id qualifies for this in India. any issues if the Id document is having different address than Passport or Communication address mentioned in Application?

1) If your Father & elder brother are Dependents in your application then no required to submit their PCC.
2) Reference letters from employers should be submitted in original.
3) If you stayed more than 6 momths in any country with in last 10 years then you need to submit PCC from that country.
4) National ID : Example Aadhar ID from India.a

My documents for WES assessment have been delivered 2 days ago. But still my WES account status is showing 'waiting for the required documents'. Is there any clue??

Hi, I am working as a CREDIT Analyst in a Credit rating agency in india for last 11 months. Previously, I was working as Assistant Professor, in a State University Affiliated college for almost 4 years. I have a specific query:

As per NOC, I have performed all duties of university lecturer but of research publications. I do not have any publications but I can substantiate all other duties with some strong evidence. I am asking this question, cz I applied for Australian Skill assessment for PR and there they have asked to me come with published research papers.

I am MBA and FRM and CFA.

If you perform 80% of the below job (NOC 4011), you should be eligible to apply. Don't find anywhere research publication is mandatory.

University professors and lecturers perform some or all of the following duties:•Teach one or more university subjects to undergraduate and graduate students
•Prepare and deliver lectures to students and conduct laboratory sessions or discussion groups
•Prepare, administer and grade examinations, laboratory assignments and reports
•Advise students on course and academic matters and career decisions
•Direct research programs of graduate students and advise on research matters
•Conduct research in field of specialization and publish findings in scholarly journals or books
•May serve on faculty committees dealing with such matters as curriculum planning and degree requirements, and perform a variety of administrative duties
•May represent their universities as speakers and guest lecturers
•May provide professional consultative services to government, industry and private individuals.

i have a friend who is planning to apply for 2174 but still waiting for wes evaluation. his estimated date of sending his docs will be on june 5. is there any chance that he will be included in 1000 cap?

Folks,

I decided to apply for FSW under one of the following categories.

Software engineers and designers (2173)
Computer programmers and interactive media developers (2174)

Last year I saw software engineering categories got closed only in the Month of August which is three months from the begin date, but I saw someone writing on this forum that the CAP was reached in 3 weeks. Can someone clarify what am I missing ?

I already sent copies of my degree certificates to WES yesterday and also applied to universities from where I graduated to directly send the transcripts to WES. Plus booked IELTS for June 7. Am I too late ?

If you can't fill in all details leave it blank and attach separate sheet of paper and write on that.

Work experience documents can be submitted with copies... As per document checklist. Originals might be requested later by an officer

I'm afraid to say but yes bro. I don't think you can make it up as 2174 and 2173 are the most favorite ones might be filled up in 1 and half month. But if you want then you may give a try!

Might be too late but worth a try as cap is 1000 this time!

It usually takes 48 hrs for them to update the status after the documents reach them. If it still does not change, contact them in the the contact us page and mention your courier tracking number etc.

Hello members of the forum.

I would be very grateful to you if you can clear my doubts :-


1) Should all the forms be types/printed in BLOCK letters ? is that mandatory ?


2) Question 7 of Generic Application form for Canada - Have you received your certificate de Selection du Quebec and there are just 2 options- "Yes/No" . But for option "No" they are asking when I have applied fo CSQ which I have not done. The best anser will be in my case is "n/A" which i case is same fo most applicant.What should I fill in ?

3) Additional Family Information - It is written that all name should be in English as well as in native language? Cannot we fill up the form just in english because all software do not support native scripts

4) Schedule A (back ground check) - Question 2....is that mandatory to fill in ? Cannot that be typed in english ?


5) In my case as I am from India my Proof of Funds will be in INR.So in the application , do I need to convert it to Canadian dollar ( as per the last exchanage Rate) and attached a separate parer with how much it is coming to in CAD?


6) The DD for processing feed needs to be stapled with the Fees payment Form and send in the same application package ?

But last year I was surprised to check the CIC website and only in Aug 2013 saw the CAP reached. What is the basis for claims that CAP reached in 3 weeks or 45 days last year ?
