Hi Guys,

I am just thinking about my application sent back last time and wanted to be sure that I have no UCI number... Where should they usually place the UCI numbers if I already have one? In the rejection letter?

Thanks in advance

In the Application / rejection letter they mention UCI by red pen most probably.

Guys...Silly question...but were you guys able to fit in all the supporting docs in the 9x 12 envelope? I can barely fit in half the docs? Is it ok to send in a bigger envelope?

No wasn't able to. Got a bigger envelope n folded mid way. Don't know if even this can lead to rejection

hi , i guess there is confusion on this topic whether to mention your file as rejected last year. i have not listed my UCI number and i sent my file today. since it is not rejected but they could not accept it due to fulfillment of the cap.

Hello Experts,

Do we need to supply the job responsibility/experience letter as original ?
In any form can we use the combination of hand written and types i.e what ever can come in space provided we can type rest we can write ?

Hi

As per my understanding you should submit a copy of the experience letter.. it clearly mentions on the checklist "copies"

They had mentioned my UCI number with red ink in the Generic Application form, which was returned back to me due to quota getting over.

Hi, I am a professional banker aged 28 and working in National Bank of Pakistan as a branch Operations Officer from last five years. I hv following questions to the respected seniors and I hope u guys will help me out:

1. Am I eligible to apply under FSW 2014 newly introduced categories of 1212 (Supervisor finance, insurance clerks) or 1114 (financial officer others)?? Can anybody please tell me whether my branch banking experience falls any of the NOC categories??

2. I am married and have a daughter, but I am thinking to apply for FSW for myself only in order to save extra fee of accompanying spouse/dependent children which could be lost in case of refusal of my FSW application. Is my point of view right? and will I be able to sponsor my wife and daughter later after getting PR in Canada? any time limit or other constraints which I have to consider if I am applying for myself only?

3. my wife's sister is Canadian citizen. Will I get 5 points of close relation if I am applying for myself only and not accompanying my wife?

4. What are the advantages and disadvantages of applying for FSW with spouse and children?

its my first post in this forum. Hope to receive prompt response from all of you immigration gurus. Thanks in anticipation

Regards,

Saud Khan

Guys, was just wondering. If application was received at CIO on April 28, 2014 will it be considered for FSW 2013 or 2014?

It will be considered for FSW 2013. The Ministerial Instructions contain a very clear definition regarding this: all applications received before May 1, 2014 will be handled according to FSW 2013 instructions/caps, and all applications received on or after May 1, 2014 will be handled according to FSW 2014 instructions/caps, irrespectively of other factors:

These Instructions will come into force on May 1, 2014, and apply to applications received by designated Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) offices on or after May 1, 2014.
All applications received by designated CIC offices prior to May 1, 2014, shall continue to be considered for processing according to the Ministerial Instructions in place at the time of their receipt.

I am choosing Ottawa as Case Processing center sine I am currently in US now.My question is in case I have to return to India after applying for FSWP 2014 can I change the Case Processing Center to New Delhi?

You response will be much appreciated.
