2014 to be the Last year to have FSW.... starting Jan 2015 Express Extry system to be launched... They might have all the eligible application with in the Cap gets finalized before Jan'15

Applications per eligible occupation:

As of May 1, 2014, there is an overall cap of 25,500 for new federal skilled worker applications. This includes a cap of 500 applications from PhD students. There are also sub-caps of 1,000 for each of the 50 eligible occupations. The caps do not affect people with a valid job offer. These are the last applications we will accept under the current system before Express Entry launches in January 2015.

Call up the Thomas Cook Toll Free number and ask them how much amount in your local currency for the amount Canadian Dollars your are looking for along with DD Charges and ask him to send an online link payment.

Then go to any Near by Thomas Cook branch and ask the same you will find little amount high price compared to call center given amount. Then tell them that you already spoke to call center and share a copy of the link details and they will agree for the same.

All together it will take 1 hour to get the DD...

To throw some light about the question 6 d) of Schedule A (Background / Declaration) specailly for people who apllied for FSW 2013 and application returned due to CAP filled.

You need to answer Yes and explain that "I have applied for Permanent Resident Visa under Federal skilled workers category of 2013 and my application was returned due to NOC XXX Cap reached"
[/size]

Reason for answer yes :

In the return package we recieved a letter from CIC stating " This referes to your application for permanent residence in Canada as a Federal Skilled Worker(FSW). We have now completed the assessment of your application and have determined that your not eligible for processing in this category.

Which means it should be considered as rejected.

If you say no which means we are lying the information and more chances for CIC to reject your application.

Actually I used the below:

Citizenship and Immigration Canada
Federal Skilled Worker
NOC Category, Offer of Arranged Employment category or PhD category
Primary NOC 2011 Code: 2147
49 Dorchester Street
Sydney, NS
B1P 5Z2
Canada

Though if u select "NOC Category" only, will be absolutely fine. ...:)

here is your reward...+1 ;D

i made my dd from axis bank they charged INR 62315.48 for CAD 1100.

No eligible and rejected are two different things. If the application was refused without being processed, it is not a refusal/rejection.

For me in Thomas Cook they charge INR 70,912.00 for CAD 1250.

So it means Axis is charging 56.65 for 1 CAD with DD charges included and Thomas Cook is charging 56.73 for 1 CAD with DD charges included

Do you think there's any harm/demerit in sending an application from Dubai? Also, if any of you know mishandling through Dubai?
Is Pakistan a better choice or Dubai to send application from.
Please respond.

I agree with LHR-2147.
It was not rejected, they simply didn't had enough space for us, thus never even processed it. We will see... for me being rejected works against us, so answering No would work better.

I don't agree with you - I think there is a difference between eligibility and admissibility.
I was not aligible for processing - that doesn't mean I was inadmissible.
CIC says:

"If your application is eligible for processing, your application will be assessed against the following requirements:

-minimum requirements
-selection factors
-sufficient funds
-admissibility (criminality, security, medical) "

If they found some medical, criminal or security problem then I would be inadmissible and they would refuse my admission to Canada.
Please somebody help to clarify this!
