in 12a. should I write the main duties of the work position I have exactly as they appear in the NOC, or should I interpret with my own words as they are in the letter?

Brother I have used on the Sch-3 point 12 a/b field as my actual Job tittle and my NOC-2147 (as mine).

I guess I should do the same, send both my degrees and hope that they considered my work experience accordingly. Since, I should be able to meet the required total (67 points) depending on my IELTS outcome.

Another important question, I am a married person however I am applying as a single applicant. Is there anything to be included with reference to my spouse or my kids in the application form. Kindly advice.

Thanks again for all your support and guidance in this case.

I am advising not to apply single....:)

I applied for 'Computer programmers and interactive media developers (2174)' for Nova scotia pnp. This time if I change the occupation to 'Database analysts (2172)' will be a problem? Does CIC keeps all the record? (From my Nova scotia application I have not got any response.).

It depends brother...

U can change ur NOC but u have to keep in mind ur job matches with the NOC code...Also u can include 20% of ur earlier NOC duty that u do on ur job...

Thanks for your response brother. One more clarification though. Below are the list of photocopies that I will notarize and attach with my application:
1. Passport
2. Work reference letter, offer letter and 2 months payslip for current employment
3. Work reference letters, offer letters and experience letters for previous work experience
4. Bachelor Degree transcript, certificate and all semester marksheets
5. Bank Certification/ Account Balance letter
6. Birth certificate
7. Marriage certificate

so, pls clarify if I require any other photocopy (except those mentioned above) to be notarized and attached with the applications. I am only mentioning photocopy doc required, not originals that are mandatory and definitely has to be included.

Hi,

I don't think you need to notorize. Go through the document check list. It only says copies. NOT NOTORIZED COPIES. So if you give a copy , you are fine.

My query is regarding Proof of Funds.

I am covered under National Pension Scheme in South Korea.
and this amount is payable to be when i will leave this country.

Can i show this amount as settlement funds?

Hello all, I also have 2 questions:

1, When I fill in the form named imm5669e.pdf, I found my company's name is too long for the width of the textbox. Do you have the same troubles?

2, My master's degree has been assessed through WES, but my bachelor's degree is not assessed, will CIO return my application for this ?

Thank you very much ;D

2 quick questions:

a. I would be using my American Express card as my payment mode? AmEx people are saying that my card is International Transactions enabled. Guess I am safe here. Please comment.

b. Questions 12a and 12b of form 'Schedule3':

12a asks me to write my primary occupation and NOC code
12b asks me to write current occupation and NOC code

I would be claiming points on the basis of my current designation which is 'Associate Consultant' which falls under NOC code 2171. Should I write 'Associate Consultant' as my primary occupation or should I write 'Information systems analysts and consultants' as my primary occupation.

Hi,

Last year i applied and was rejected due to not filling the NOC code in 12.A in economic class application.

Again now I have a confusion on filling this 12.a and 12.b..... Actually my experience falls under mechanical engineer.

I have worked as service engineer and i want CIC to consider this as my experience.

Now in 12.B i will put as service engineer (which is same as mechanical engineer). Now in 12 a what i can put? Can i put as service engineer and put the mechanical eng NOC code or just put as mechanical engineer and NOC code. Please advice.

Also difference in job title will it affect my process? But the roles are same as mechanical engineer.

Additional Info, i have done masters in mechanical engineering only. Please advise.

Thanks in advance....

Brother I have used on the mentioned 12 b field as my actual Job titlte and on the NOC-2147 (as mine).

u dont have to worry about the job title...CIC know that it will not be matched in all case..they just gave example on the HRSDC site:

Thanks very much,

so in 12.b i can put my actual job title as service engineer with mechanical eng NOC and in 12.a as mechanical engineer ? please advise so that i will be ore clear..

Schedule-3 Form Confusion

Say some one is holding the position as Service Engineer under NOC 2132 (Mech engineer).

He did another Job five years back with another NOC 2133 (Electrical Engg). He worked as Production Engineer. By this NOC experience he want to apply.

So for

12 -a: "Identify the primary occupation and corresponding four-digit NOC 2011 code that will be used to assess whether your application meets the minimum program requirements:

Occupation : Production Engineer NOC : 2133

12 -b: Starting with your current occupation, list all of the occupations that you have had in the 10 years preceding the date of your application.

First occupation : Service Engineer NOC : 2132

Second Occupation : Production Engineer NOC : 2133

Here is the CIC guidelines for Schedule-3:

Question 12
Your work experience

a) Identify the primary occupation and corresponding four-digit NOC 2011 code that will be used to assess whether your application meets the minimum program requirements. Choose one occupation from the list you provide in your answer to 12b).

b) Starting with your current occupation, list all of the occupations that you have had in the 10 years preceding the date of your application. For each occupation:

I hope u can now clear by reading this post.
