Hi,

I have a confusion on filling this 12.a and 12.b..... Actually my experience falls under mechanical engineer.

I have worked as service engineer and i want CIC to consider this as my experience.

Now in 12.B i will put as service engineer (which is same as mechanical engineer). Now in 12 a what i can put? Can i put as service engineer and put the mechanical eng NOC code or just put as mechanical engineer and NOC code. Please advice.

Also difference in job title will it affect my process? But the roles are same as mechanical engineer.

Additional Info, i have done masters in mechanical engineering only. Please advise.

Question regarding the Schedule 3: Economic Classes [IMM 0008 SCHEDULE 3] Form

12 a) Occupation - should this be the one mentioned in the NOC code desctiption or the designation we hold in reference letter
eg for 2174 - Computer Programmer and Interactive Media Developer or Programmer Analyst as per my reference letter


12 b) Occupation - is the the title we held in the previous employments or just the NOC name eg Computer Programmer and Interactive Media Developer for 2174

Currently, I'm staying in a rented house. But in my passport, my old rented house address was mentioned. Does it make any problem?

If so, please let me know the steps to avoid those problems..

Now, I'm working as Documentum/Input Accel administrator for more than 4 years. As EMC DOCUMENTUM tool is a Content management System, and it deals with administering the DATA (user documents) and Vendor Invoice Processing to Documentum.

Please let me know which JOB title suits me best, NOC 2171 or 2172 ???

Your job description is the most important and not you Job tittle.
Just be sure that your Job description your NOC of interest....and you are good to go.
if you dwell too much on your Job tittle....you may never be able to submit you application!

If CIC is this strict for applications then lucky guys who have got the Canada PR. Lets hope we also get lucky because no matter how hard we try there will always be some form in which some data is missing from our side or is in-correct.

Job titles can be really different from what CIC expects them to be. So focus more on job responsiblities. You can write the current job title which u r holding as per your offer letter.

You are right....nobody knows how exactly the immigration officers work.
Also remember they are humans like you too.I got an application returned early this year because of payment issues....but indeed,there were documented mistakes I made while filling then form which they didnt notice!
Just do your best and pray for FAVOUR!

How to get a copy of IELTS test report ?
I applied for FSW 2013 and the file was returned due to cap fill. But, the file was lost.

And also for spouse, is it mandatory to submit the original IELTS test report or a notorized copy will also be fine ?

my paternal uncle is PR in canada n im claiming 5 points for blood relation i have notarized all of my documents.
now do i have to notarize his documents ( PR card, passport, driving license, tax bill & credit card statement ) as well ? if yes then from where it should be notarized from india or canada as all of his documents r issued in canada
