Hi All,

I have scored 6.5 overall score in IELTS. Please find the result as below:

Listening: 7.0
Reading: 6.0
Writing: 7.0
Speaking: 6.5

Overall: 6.5

Now I am confused on how to calculate points for language out of the total 24 points. When I calculate CLB I am getting 19 points. Can some one please guide me on how much points I can actually score?

Regards,

Ziyad

FOR PRINCIPAL APPLICANT

Minimum CLB 7 required to qualify to send his FSW application

IELTS SCORE FOR CLB 7: LISTENING = 6, READING = 6, WRITING = 6, SPEAKING = 6

CLB Level Ability: Speaking Ability: Listening Ability: Reading Ability: Writing Points per ability

7 6 6 6 6 4

8 6.5 7.5 6.5 6.5 5

9 & above 7-9 8-9 7-9 7-9 6

Example

An applicant getting the following IELTS Score with the corresponding points obtained in FSW Application
Listening: 8 = 6 points
Reading: 7.5 = 6 points
Writing: 6.5 = 5 points
Speaking: 6.5 = 5 points

Total points = 22 points

FOR SPOUSE

Minimum CLB 5 in order to get 5 points in FSW Application

IELTS SCORE FOR CLB 5: LISTENING = 5, READING = 4, WRITING = 5, SPEAKING = 5

Thanks Ashif for a quick response. However he has got CoPR document only last month and its valid until June 2014. He has to move there during June'14. Considering that he has CoPR which is a valid document as per document checklist, it may be considered by cic. We can share the facts
with cic and see if they agree. Any bills or tax returns or lease agreement cant be shared since he hasn't moved yet to Canada but has time until June 2014 to make a move. I believe CIC will consider this. Any thoughts?

Thanks for your reply, so that means my score would be as below:

Listening: 7.0 = 4.5
Reading: 6.0 = 4
Writing: 7.0 = 6
Speaking: 6.5 = 5

Total = 19.5, is this correct?

Hello everyone

I had a query. I completed BBA. So for credentials assessment I only need to provide Bba certificates right? No need to provide my secondary & higher secondary certificates right? Can anyone confirm?

U will get that number after ur app submission....CIC himself will assign UCI and application number..
I think you got me wrong .

I meant to ask, do I need to submit Proof of Fund (Bank Balance Certificate) along with other documents to CIC ?
Or it (Bank Balance Certificate) is required to include only when applying to Visa office ? because it is written in the CIC website that
"You will need to show proof to the Canadian visa office in your home country that you have enough money when you apply to immigrate."

You have to submit proof of fund along with your application to CIC. No other way.

For experience, I have worked with two organisations.

Organisation #1 : 5+ years,
Organisation #2 : 1.5 years, different NOC than first one.

I will be applying on basis of the NOC code which suits the first organisation due to more experience.

Since the NOC of second organisation is different, for the 1.5 years experience do I need to submit

Complete experience letter as per the guidelines for it as well?
OR
Payslips, joining letter, and employment tenure letter, because the experience is not relevant to the NOC on which I am applying?

Anyone?
