Can we start filling the forms?

Or wait till Monday ?

Start filling all the forms. Keep a copy of everything. On 1st May, just check whether any form has been changed. If no change found, send it else chage it and send it.

We waited for this day but no additional info...
I was expecting they give more instructions.
This is definitely advantage for all. Cheers to everyone!

For me. I will wait until May 1 to know the updated forms and instructions from CIC website.

Goodluck to all of us.

Would be grateful if someone could help me out..as i have gone through earlier posts but wasnt able to figure a way out.

i applied for NOC 2147 in FSW2013 but its not here anymore.

1. I have an Electronics Engineering Degree, can opt for NOC : Electrical and electronics engineers (2133), but my work experience doesn't match as it is primarily of 'Telecom/Computer Network' field.

2. When i think to go with NOC : Computer network technicians (2281), then there is a problem as i dont have experience/designation of a 'Technician' since i started directly as a "Network Engineer" although some of the job description do matches with what i did even as an engineer.
- If i opt 2281, will my existing 'ECA Report' of engineering degree in Electronics be enough/ or will match the requirement? as it is of ..."Completion of a college or other program in computer science, network administration, Web technology or a related field is usually required." ??

any suggestions ?

Hello to all and Good luck with this new programm.

I have a question and I hope that some of the experienced members will answer me and help me.

Last year I have applied under the FSWP but didn't entered in the required cap of 300 applicants per profession. I have applied under the NOC 0211 Engineering managers and this year this NOC is not available but my current job position is very similar for the NOC 0911 which is available for applying. Infact 0211 and 0911 are very similar NOC's which requires similar duties and same employment requirements.

So can anybody tell me will I have some problems if this year I apply with NOC 0911 or no?

Thanks

Not at all..U may apply with 0911 since u can have the job duties relevant to two NOC so highlight the NOC duties of 0911 that u do on ur work.

Here is the link:

My degree was assessed by ICAS as a Master degree. I intend to apply under "Computer programmers and interactive media developers (2174)" category. Any one has an idea how many points I get for this?

In the CIC website they mentioned that
" Degree program must be in one of these fields of study: Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Dentistry, Podiatry, Optometry, Law, Chiropractic Medicine, or Pharmacy."
Does that mean I wont get 23 point since my degree is not in one of these fields ???

Thanks in advance for any help :-)

It should be 22 not 23...

Two or more Canadian post-secondary degrees or diplomas or equalNote de bas de page 1 (at least one must be for a program of at least three years) 22 points

Since u r not on Medical field...

Dear senior,

what does that mean by "Notarized semesters copies"?

If I have transcripts in English and a stamp from school on it, do I still need it notarized?

Can you help to explain?

K

For which case u r asking about..

If its about the final doc submission to cic then

Notarize means--photocopy notarization by a Public notary not educational authority...

But for WES...obviously its by Educational authorty/contrller's signaure /true copy
