Dear Seniors,

Please help.

I'm applying study in Canada while also intend to apply for FSW 2014. My school starts from Sep 2014.
Mostly likely I will land in Canada in Aug, if I'm not rejected to get a study permit.
So for the Visa Office, which one shall I choose to use? VO Canada or VO China?

PS, I'm citizen of China. Can I use VO Canada to process my case?

Since u r still on china u should choose Hongkong (not Beijing) coz Hong kong was so faster compare to Beijing on FSW13.

And also u should stay on current country of resdence over one yr to choose respective local visa office....

Hello team,

My ECA was completed on 15th April and till date i have not received. I den ordered a duplicate report on 25th to be sent to me by INTERNATIONAL EXPRESS. But to my surprise they have send one copy to CIC FSWP and one to my address. WHAT WILL HAPPEN NOW. I AN YET TO APPLY FOR ANY FSWP PROGRAM STARTING THIS MAY AND THEY HAVE SENT MY REPORT DIRECTLY TO CIC FSWP.

CIC may change on May-1 too....So careless are they...

I believe it will create confusion if they update forms now, people who want to apply fsw13 in final week may get confused.
So lets wait patiently till 1st may(until canadian morning time)

As far as i know they always send digital copy to cic and send us 2 hard copies of the report. 1 for yourself and another to be submitted along with application. I would suggest u to call wes and enquire about ur copies. If they have dispatched ask for referenxe number or tracking number. Parallely keep ur application ready. Once u get eca put 1 original copy and send to CIO

Dear seniors,

I have my work contract in Chinese. To include it into my application for FSW 2014, what shall I deal with it?
Can I translate it into English myself and send both the translation and photocopy of contract to CIC? Will they accept it?
Can anyone who has experience share with me?

Hi Team,

I have 2 concerns,

First is regarding NOC..I was applied FSWP under 2147 NOC in 2013. The same is not there for 2014 category list. Plz let me know whether i can apply under 2174 or any other computer related category this time. Would it a problem?


Secondly, I have applied under NS program under 2147..i do not get update on this. Also, let me know whether i can file for FSWP also.

yes u can apply for FSW but u should have relevant work experience for the NOC u intending apply.....

If u have experience on 2174 then try for that...

i applied for NOC 2147 in FSW2013 but its not here anymore.

1. I have an Electronics Engineering Degree, can opt for NOC : Electrical and electronics engineers (2133), but my work experience doesn't match as it is primarily of 'Telecom/Computer Network' field.

2. When i think to go with NOC : Computer network technicians (2281), then there is a problem as i dont have experience/designation of a 'Technician' since i started directly as a "Network Engineer" although some of the job description do matches with what i did even as an engineer.
- If i opt 2281, will my existing 'ECA Report' of engineering degree in Electronics be enough/ or will match the requirement? as it is of ..."Completion of a college or other program in computer science, network administration, Web technology or a related field is usually required." ??

any suggestions ?

Hi guys,
Its nice to see a forum like this as regards fsw 2014.I hv a few questions and will appreciate candid opinions.
I applied for fsw 2013 but my application was returned due to cap reached(noc 1112).My Bsc qualification is civil engineering and I hv about 2years work experince wt it and about 7years work experience in the bank up till date and also I'm abt completing my MBA(june 2014).I did not include my experience as a civil enginner last year b4 sending my application cz I was running against time so as to be able to make the cap(this is bcz I wuld hv had 2 seek out my previous employer for reference letters).the reference letter I got frm the bank last year (whch is my most recent place of work) wrote out all my job duties with about only 3 or 4 of them matching the job duties of d noc 1112.this is making me change my mind and instead apply for noc 2131(civil engineer) as my work experience wt this will match abt 80% of d ones on the noc 2131.whc wuld u advise me to go for,noc 1112 considering d fact dt my ualification and experience don't match although I hv abt 80points if I apply as noc 1112 and 76points if I apply as 2131.Or should I apply as noc 2131 even though d work experience is small and not as recent compared with my present one(besides I was paid salary by cash then but I hv my employment letter,hope that won't b a problem)mthis is because an agent told me that cic usually prefers it that d primary noc u are applying for should be the one you are presently doing.kindly reply so I'll knw whc documents to gather.thank u

Since u already applied 1112 on earlier FSW13...I will suggest ur to apply with Same NOC....And the points doesnt matter as long as u scored min 67.....

So u can leave 2131 now...Thts what is my suggestion....

Dear Brother,

as long as ur work experience matches with 2281, then ur education will not be a major factor provided that u have submit sufficient employment docs...WES ECA will not affect if fulfill the above...

U may give a cover letter...which is not required..totally optional thing...
