So is it good?

As long as it was valid at time of lock-in date, it is considered as such for processing your case onward.

I have sent property ownership papers as proof of funds with my application. plz tell me if these are acceptable or not. in document checklist they have given proof of funds can be in form of property but in this forum i read that some applications got rejected for this. plzzzzz help me.

Since your mode of payment is not CC you won't know about the cost recovery until the email. And it takes ~4 months to get it.

Let's say you've been to India in 2012 for 6 months and never returned since.

You got your PCC in 2014.

If it is 2016 and you still haven't gone to India, why wouldn't your PCC be valid? Even if it is 2 years old, it still covers all the time you spent there.

Some VOs have accepted that - which makes sense.

If you are in country for a period and never visted them after that period then PCC for that period will be sufficient and that can can be any amount of years old.
The current country where you are staying that PCC should not be more than one year old.
