If you haven't made any mistake writing your scores of the Writing and Speaking skills I am sad to tell you that you cannot apply under FSW. The minimum for each ability is 6 points. Please check your scores again.

Update: Just noticed your post that you made a typo. If you have 6 in both abilities you are good! Good luck.

I attached original TRF along with my application and it has 6 in W & S. In Schedule 3 Form Page no. 2 , point 7 b) they have just mention to select the option to tick if you have taken test from designated agencies and i have not entered IELTS scores in any form. Hope all good..

Consultant: No consultant Hired, took CIC guidlines as Bible. Was not even aware of this forum.
However this forum is really helpful in case people have doubts. Hatts off to people who help other ppl with their queries.

Guys I had my PCC Appointment today. and i was directed to meet Asst. Passport officer who sent me back due to following reasons.

My passport carries my permanent address where my parents stay. and I stay in a different city due to the nature of my job. I stay on Rent and I have following documents to support the same.
1) Rental agreement (Notarised): But Passport officer asked me to provide rental agreement more than 1 year time and registered one. Please note the fact that all rental agreements are generally 11 month leave and license.and registering the agreements is a costly affair so owner is never keen on doing the same. so this doesnt work.
2) Gas connection : i provided them with cash memo copies of my gas connection which he didnt accept saying he wants the same details in the gas book itself. it was not funny but he even asked me to get my wife's name and both our photos to be provided in the gas connection book.

Please note beyond this following things could have worked for me

1) Post paid connection (I dont have the same as my company provides me the connection)
2) Bank statement (I dont have account in a nationalised bank)
3) Water bill and electricity bills are obviously in the name of owner (So cant help it)

The fact is Asst passport officers are powerful people who can make or even break you. I tried my best to explain him but he insisted that i should change my address in the passport. this looser happily wasted my time and irritated me and now I am taking following steps.

1) I have got my gas connection book with address update and me and my wifes photo signed and stamped.

Please note the fact that I am not going to provide any other document to him when I visit next. AS this was the requirement told by him.
IF next time he changes his requirement then I may as well choose to complain against him/slap him/go to Media/Complain in the anti corruption bureau.

Lets hope i dont need to do this.

Guys, this is just one of the experiences that should motivate us all to vacate this country asap and pray to god that we all move to canada asap!!!

By the way seeking assistance on 2 questions.
1) Can i get one more appointment without making extra payment for me and my wife (Rs. 500 each )
2) As per CIC website.PCC can be obtained from Commisioner of police and other similar ranks. while they also mention that the PCC given by passport office is valid as well. My question is does anybody have any idea if the PCC from Police commisioner works? has anybody given the same to NDVO ? Please guide!!!

The gas connection book should work fine. Worked in my case. Had a similar issue like yours but PCC was issued same day !!

Passport office has been provided a list of docs which can be accepted as address proof and nothing else. Notarised rent agreement is not acceptable. It needs to be duly registered as per clause 17 of some land registration act.

Hope you have provided correct employee ref letters for work experience..

I have used same company reference letter which i have used to obtain the skill assessment from ACS (Australia Computer Society).

Hello everyone.

I am NOC 1112 applicant (May 2014 application) from England. I received a medical request form today from CIC. Can I please ask the following:

- How much it cost to get medical done in London.
- When will they ask for Police certificate as I have not applied for 1 yet (I need to apply at Indian High commission in London)
- I have a baby girl born last month. When and where I send the information.

I am trying find this information on this forum but a quick reply will be appreciated.

Hello everybody,

First time I post here...Bad news for me. My consultant just received ner , below it's stated the reasons provided by CIC
1."No points were assigned for a relative in Canada for the following reasons: Sufficient evidence (such as a birth certificate of PAs father/mother showing same parents as .......) was not on file to satisfy me of your relationship (aunt) with ...... Kindly refer to the visa office document checklist for further details"
2."You have not obtained sufficient points to satisfy me that you will be able to become economically established in Canada"
Unfortunately they have misplaced the birth certificate of my father in law that proved relationship and so they awarded only 65 points instead of 70.
My consultant adviced to send a new file, but not sure that we'll manage to fall into cap. What do you think? Application details below:
