They have changed the process from 1st Jan 2014. This is mentioned on their website. Maybe something to do with this.

I did apply again this year on 19th November and the same process. They sent an email too---
This is to inform you that following Police Verification Request(s) have been initiated on Pre-Verification basis for your PCC Application with File Number XXXXXXXXXXX
You are requested to get in touch with the respective Police Office(s) if verification is not done in three weeks. Thank You!!

AND two days back inspector came at home for verification. So nothing changed at PSK Ghaziabad.
Even I asked this at PSK and officer told me clearly we would give the PCC same day if your passport is new.

Yes. As far I know. Normally PCC is valid for 6 months only. It depends on the country to country. If any country is asking PCC not more than 3 month old AND your PCC is just only 3 to 5 months old, I guess you should show them the letter and they will issue immediately cause Indian PCC is valid for 6 month.

How about MR location...? If a person is based out of New Delhi, Can he consider taking Medical tests from Fortis Mohali.
Will NDVO have any objection about the location of tests and the present location of the candidate.

Mumbai PSK didn't trouble me. Gave me PCC same day !! Lucky me...

No need to send it through email if you already sent it through mail. If you haven't sent it at all then send though email. Please note that RPRF payments are not acknowledged by CIC.

did you paid rprf fees online if yes than you might have send the receipt along with your details ????
