Would you please share your rejection letter mentioning what they wrote on the cover letter as rejection cause?

Is PCC from local town police station is acceptable or Would I have to go for Passport office for PCC..?? (Country India)

This is a personal observation, why do you want to get it done from local police station, when the correct procedure is via the local PSK. By going directly to local police station, we are exposing ourselves to wrong practices and hence further wrondoings by officials themselves. I maybe wrong on this .. but as I said thats a personal observation

However if passport address and current address, it can be time consuming if you go through PSK

still PSK is better always.

I heard in the forum that they will be in vacation(holiday season) somewhere from mid of December till New Year, not sure if this is true but they will be in the holiday mood for sure.

Any news from DD applicant. I am 5th Aug applicant..i am too much worried about my file.

You shouldn't worry. Since NOC 4011 is not a hot one, I think they focused on it in the last 10 days. My app date is 22 aug via CC and I just got charged. You can expect it on next week Wednesday latest. Probably you will get PER before me. So cheer up and don't waste your weekend.

i am also in same situation.
at the time of sending my application i don't know about how to get PCC from PSK so that i had taken from local police station and send along with my application. now waiting for MR if NDVO asking for PCC then i will submit it's again for me & my wife both.

Even I donno it's Wrong Practice.

Applying through PSK is more tedious job for me as my PSK is far and I m doing job somewhere else where Planning and budgeting excercise is on and I cant take leave accordingly.

Any way..thanks again...wll try to go through right procedure.
