For benefit of my friends and dear forum members, I am providing sample JD details for NOC 2131 Civil Engineers
Please make your own amendments to it.
1) Analyze, Interpret, Investigate the data and documents supplied to Appraiser .
2) To evaluate and recommend appropriate building and construction materials to be used.
3) Prepares scale drawings of the location of property and existing/ proposed buildings on site.
4) To conduct field services for civil works at sites financed by Bank.
5) Supervise ongoing construction work on behalf of and as an authorized representative of Bank.
6) Develop the construction specifications and verify that the same specifications are being followed at sites.
7) Supervise his staff, field engineers, technical staff, draftsmen, cost estimators and review and approve designs, maps, location plans, calculations, methods adopted and cost estimates.
8) Conduct technical analysis of survey and field data, topographical, soil , hydrological and other information and prepare reports.
9) To conduct site investigations, inspections and analyze data in determining the value of land, orchards and vineyards, buildings and other structures, and to report the same in writing to bank.
10) Estimate replacement costs, obsolescence costs, construction costs, market value, and other pertinent factors, obtaining information from interviews/ personal discussions with owners, contractors, real estate agents, and others.
11) To ensure that construction plans meet guidelines and specifications of Indian Building codes and all other applicable norms and guidelines in force at the time of appraisal.
12) Converse with clients (as per Code of conduct of Bank) to ensure that all Technical aspects of design/ construction/building plans /Safety measures are being followed at site for all project funding cases.
