I know that nobody will answer this. Anyway I would like to share my panic. I have been sleepless since Monday when I realized that there are DD being encashed for dates later than mine which is 31st July for the NOC 0911, money order issed by ScotiaBank.

Dont worry DD encashment usually takes time ... pls wait ... hold nerves ... u mill make it I have gone through the same .. so telling u

Finally received most awaited mail from CIC today..

application received date: 23rd July
mode of payment: DD
NOC code: 2173
PER: 18th Nov

Enquired with the Bank multiple times regarding DD encashment, infact even today, but they told that DD was still outstanding.

Thanks to Century, Ashif bhai and all the forum members for the valuable information on the forum without which I could have never sent my application .. thanks again !! 8) 8) 8) 8)

You will receive a reply to your query in 45-50 days as per current trend. With last week freekish cost recovery patterns by CIO, it's merely impossible to provide any plausible prognosis in regards to hot NOCs. You have my support and wishes of success though.

No, I applied through Consultant. They had their own lawyer living in Canada. While Canadian lawyer had a visit to consultancy, I had asked him about it. And he said no need to keep that information about spouse.

Is there any solution to come out from this problem?

i Just got up with a phone call from my friend, to let me know that CIC has made a transaction (i have given his card details) on his credit card which was successful.
