Eligibility depends on job duties and not educational qualifications. If your job duties are matching the duties for NOC 1123, then you are good to go !

Dear Members,

I have a query. I have applied for NOC 1123 (Marketing) in October. I have done Master of Pharmacy and i am working in marketing field since 2 years.
But I don't have any relevant degree in marketing.
Am I eligible to get PER for NOC 1123?
Please Help.
Thank you.

Hi Dear, You're very senior member but just sharing with you what is mentioned on the NOC 2011 PDF document:

for 1123:
Employment requirements
 A university degree or college diploma in
business marketing, public relations,
communications, journalism, museology or a
discipline related to a particular subject matter is
usually required.
 Practitioners in public relations may require an
APR (Accredited in Public Relations)
designation.

Hi,
From the current speed and proactiveness of the cic staff cum weekend overtime duties, i am of the view they might start charging September application any time from Monday. This is my thought. Any contrary view?

NOC: 1212
App receive date: Sep 4th, 2014
Payment mode: DD
PER very soon by the grace of God.
I am 28th July applicant. Much worried as the cc still not charged. Will any senior help me here with their views.. should I consider me as out of the race????

On first day they found my blood pressure is high, next day they did few more test which includes ECG, ECHO 2d and referred me to a cardiologist.(At extra cost)

Cardiologist gave me fitness certificate that for next 5 years there could be no medical attention required as my heart was working normal.

They also got my creatinine test, and found that my kidney is also ok. They gave me some medication and sent the report to CIC.

They told me nothing to worry about, and yesterday my BP came down to normal.

Sounds great till now.. +1 to you for enlightening me. :)

wish you all the best friend....!! Hope all is well.

Hi canadavisa1986,
i think what cic response to ur update request means is that ur application has passed d completeness check and in queue for d next process, perhaps charge. Application can only be in queue after completeness check has been done on it. If not, u wouldn't av gotten that feedback.]

You can drop an email to CIC and gently ask status of your application. But I feel its better to wait a little bit more brother and hope all should be OK.

Hi friend, I've just tried to mention what is there in the NOC document. However, seniors would be able to give more clarity on this.

In all probability, you should be clear in Meds.

August charging has just begun. So relax and wait for your turn which could be sometime this week.
