Hi All,
I have sent my application on 14th Oct and it reached sydney on 21st Oct 2014. At the time of sending my application, CAP for NOC 2173 was showing 425 completed applications but when I checked the CAP status today, Its showing completed appilcation number as 1000.

What are the chances of my application getting through ? What if my application is not selected in this year's CAP ?

Does ndvo enquire about funds from bank..i had an urgent need so had to withdraw for use...i have shown them as proof of settlement funds...plz suggest i am worried...it was a fixed deposit

One should maintain fund during the application process as VO may ask for updated statement or you may be required to show at the l=time of first landing in Canada.NDVO does not check the bank directly and banks are not authorised to give details to the third party.

Thanks for the reply, but what do you mean, like they might sent the email to a wrong address?
Because I checked my application copy and my email is correct!

1. You say you entered the right address but CIC people can enter the wrong email address? It might be a hyphen or underscore error and the mail will go someplease else.
2. Have you checked your spam/junk mail? If yes, and you still dont find it - please write to CIC on email and they will respond back. Add the CIC mail address to your contact list so that any mail response they send will come into your inbox and not spam/junk.

You said you have applied for PCC...does that mean your police verification has been initiated??

It will take around 20-30 days on time taken by SP office for verification. Once your verification is done you can request the person doing your verification to send your report to SP office ASAP. After that you can visit SP office and request them to process your verification report.

These days SP office uploads the verification report on PSK portal. Once the report is uploaded the same is reflected at PSK.

Don't wait for the message or status to change on your PSK account. Rather call their customer care and check if your verification is complete. In my case, my verification was done on 30th Oct and same didn't reflect till 7th Nov but when I called the customer care, they notified me that my verification is complete.

First of all thanks for reply.

1. I have went police station (PS) for verification and its done, however because of passport mela police is busy and have NOT sent document forward.

2. After police verification document goes to COP & COP verify with the officer if he's received your verification report from PS.

3. From COP report goes to PSK.

Now step1 is done but step2 is NOT done !!

If it is not done for say more 15 days I am stuck ??

send e-mail at cio-sydney-search-enquiry @ cic.gc.ca asking about status of your application. Mention your Full Name, DoB, UCI (of you have any), Passport number. Also provide the detail of when and who received your original package as well as name of courier and tracking number.

It will take around 40 days to get response.

Today I had realized after speaking to a forum member that I had missed to fill "IMMIGRATION OFFICE REQUESTED FOR PROCESSING THIS APPLICATION".

Will this factor responsible for the delay ?

Hello all..
I have been a silent reader of this forum since past 4 months and have been helped several times by reading the replies of the forumites...

But I have one querry with me...I am an NOC 4011 applicant.

VO: New Delhi

My only concern is that whether CIC is becoming subject specific while selscting applications..??
Since i am a post graduate in Pharmacy and pharmacy is not much in demand these days in Canada...so can it be a reason for the rejection of my application..??

Please reply if somebody has any idea about it...!!

You may try applying under 2172 if your JD match. Good luck.

Hello there,

Has there been any news of PPR from NDVO. Stuck at "Medical Results have been received" status for almost 80 days now. Any idea what the NDVO trend is, do they churn out lots every 2-3 months or the PPR requests keep trickling all the time. Getting impatient now

that is correct and u have a stay a minimum of 2 years in canada during this period for extension

Doesn't CC charge indicate completeness check? What could be the reasons for rejections so far known from the forum after CC charge?
