Good news for NDVO applicants, just had a chat with Chris and raised the issue/frustration of NDVO applicants as none has received PPR....... he has taken-up the matter with the VO and instructed them to start issuing PPR in 2-3 weeks.

The above timeline is based on the fact that NDVO needs to finalize as much apps as possible before 31st Dec 2014 to meet their annual targets. Candidates are given 30 days to submit the passport, so NDVO has to start issuing PPR by 3rd week of Nov. My personal guess is that they were holding on to PPR to focus on completing processing of as much applicants and issue MR & PCC (time consuming requirements) and then quickly finish stamping visa as passports start pouring in Dec.

This is a fiction, but these words definitely raises the hopes.

I forgot to write my friend's name who made me the DD on the payment form "If main applicant isn't the payer", I just saw that the cheque didn't has his name on it!!
Should I send an update with cover letter?

Dont keep your hopes up with 3012. Go with 3233 and you will have peace of mind. Once 3012 is officially CAP reached, 3233 will flood with applications.

PER November 7

my VO supposed to be Mexico but I'm in TOronto studying so I read here that they may changed my VO to Ottawa or not, How do I know this if it doesnt say anything in my PER email, should I assume my VO remains Mexico? thanks and please +1 for my PER :-*

One of the biggest negatives of long gap between MR and VISA is the window of landing in Canada becomes narrow as visa will be valid for 1 year after medicals are done.

Some in NDVO have completed medicals about 2 to 3 months ago and still not received a PPR request. After PPR request it will take atleast 2 months for a visa so even if NDVO applicants who complete medicals receive PPR in a month from now the difference beween Medicals and PPR will be close to six months so the time window to land in Canada will only be six months, which is quite less.

I'm August 25 applicant , can you tell,would my application be within the CAP 1000?
When will I get a reply from CIC?
