Hey Guys, need your advise, my application was returned for two reasons, one that my duties did not match the NOC and two that my spouse's BC was missing
I am filing my second application in another NOC so that takes care of part one but for my spouse's BC i had sent an affidavit in lieu of BC, which i did for my BC also, they seem to have accepted mine but not my spouse's. Applying and getting issued a BC in Delhi is not an easy job and it takes at least 3weeks, which will delay my application, so what should i do for my spouse's BC, if i send the affidavit again what more can i send along with it to authenticate the date of birth.

One more question my refusal letter states "letter of employment did not clearly give evidence showing that you have performed the actions described in the lead statement", what does this exactly mean? Does it mean that they do not believe that i have performed the duties given in the reference letter? If yes, why would they doubt if the reference letter has been signed & stamped by my employer.

Can someone pls throw some light on this.

Some important facts to consider:

The express entry program is being launched in January, the current system is being discontinued.

Under express entry, employers have a greater say as to who comes into the Canadian workforce.

For skilled migrants, there is currently no cap announced so we recommend that you begin the process today so you are able to file immediately when the program opens. If a cap is introduced, you may not get affected.

As no change has been announced in the occupation cap, apply for an evaluation to see if you will be eligible.

2. Is its being done for everybody?
3. If not, what could be the percentage among total applications?

Also for applying in NOC 4011, do I need to have any kind of professional license or certification as I taught Engineering as per the employment requirement which says "Licences or professional certification may be required for professors teaching future practitioners in certain professionally regulated fields, such as medicine, engineering, architecture, psychology or law."

By the way, I have a Master's degree in Engineering which another Employment Requirement.

The "employment requirements" section of the NOC description is not use for FSW purposes. Only the job duties matter.

The only exception is doctor/nurse NOCs that have their own accreditation organizations; they require a special ECA from that organization. But 4011 is not one of these NOCs so dno't worry.

Yes, this update is from Y-Axis. They sent a mailer yesterday. There is nothing new in this.

1. They usually do it through third party.
2. No, mostly not. They will pick random applicants for audit and if the app is in that, then they will do the BG Check.
3. Whatever I heard is 10 to 15 % of the applicants.

Note: No one knows how CIC really works. This is just based on the info I got from last year applicants. I assume it to be more or less true but will not enforce that this is the right info.

Anyway, I would like to share the response I've received from LVO regarding my Case Specific Enquiry (CSE) thru which I submitted a cover letter, and a new Schedule A - Background / Declaration form.

I submitted CSE on 27th of October, I received response today (so in about a week) which is fairly quick reply I guess, here is what reply said:

Dear Sir / Madam,

This is in response to your enquiry.

Your application is in process or waiting to be reviewed by an immigration officer. No further action is required by you at this time.

Our office will contact the applicant when a decision has been made or if further information is required. Immigration decisions and information requests are sent by post or email to the addresses provided in the application.



However, if you wish to submit additional documents, please send in hard copies of your documents to the address given below quoting your file number.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

On the same day, I also sent thru physical copy of the new form so they have my new form with them. But I am not sure what this reply means. Can someone interpret what they're saying? Especially, does this mean my file has now reached LVO? (i.e. LVO doesn't send AOR so I can take this as an AOR if this really means file is now only about a 1000 meters from what I am sitting now!) ;D

The cap web site is outdated, you can use the estimates on the spreadsheet but they are only educated guesses. 2171 is hot, don't delay.

It is not d case dese days.....now u have to take a proper appointment even for PCC....i am telling from my experience. ...and usually u get an appointment date after one month of applying...i booked appointment at around 7 September and got d appointment for 21 october....dey dont entertain you before your appointed date

Appointment not required for PCC. Please check local psk sites for the allowed walkin times for PCC.

The list of docs I had attached to prove my wife's DOB"

1. Affidavit.
2. notarized copy of 10th certificate which has her father's name.
3. notarized copy of Aadhar card which has her mother's name (I applied for this with FSW in mind as we didnt hav this before!!).
4. notarized copy of passport, which has both her parent's name.

and it worked for me. Hope this is of help to you as well.
