My second line has been updated in ECAS. Checked yesterday morning and it was not updated. Updated the spreadsheet. Today it was updated with the below line:

We started processing your application on October 29, 2014.

It is a case to case basis. For few people they received MR on the same day their 2nd line got updated in ECAS. For few it took around a week or more.

I have helped my 2 friends for filing of app...28 June n 16 July.... Both have got per n cc charged....I was 11 July.....no cc charging....

Why I am being tested??

Guys,
I am waiting for my PER :...After that, Do we get an email stating MR, PCC & RPRF need to be submitted? Do they mentions PCC from which countries need to be submitted? I am worried bcoz I have traveled to several countries due to my profession and stayed about 6 months period in most of these countries.

Once you get your PER, would advise you to start processing PCC for all the countries where you have stayed for more than six months this would help you to be ready with your docs at time of request of further documentations from VO.....Thanks

I had already sent PCC with my application. I had obtained it from my city at India as per CIC guidelines.
Will I be getting PCC request in that case?
I see some people say FBI PCC. What is that?

If you have submitted PCC with your intial application most probably that it, you would not asked again for PCC, only you need to submit PCC from countries where you have stayed for more than 6 months, so if you have not stayed in other countries for more than 6 months dont worry....Best of Luck....

If they need your PCC from any country after age of 18 for more than 6 months or in rare cases less the 6 months too, they specificaly mention country name from where they require your PCC, it depends on case to case....Thanks.....

I have a question reg POF (Proof of Fund)

I am keeping the required fund in savings bank account for last 6months... but inbetween for a short period the balance slightly went below the required level. Now its ok.

I am expecting MR in a week or two ...

Will it cause any issue when V.O ask for fresh statement for POF ?

Normally VO will ask for 6months account statement or Balance certificate?


Generaly they ask for Balance certificates....if in any case they ask for statements which they usually don,t then some minor transactions in and out do not create any problem but you should atleast try to maintain 70% of your require funds in account all time, and at time of generating statement if asked by VO, make the fund as required by CIC guidelines for your application.
