I got my medical done on Oct 23rd. The results are not yet received as I can't see 3rd line in eCAS. Does anyone know how long it will take for results to be received by visa office?

Designations don't matter, however, your job description for the '0' category must include managerial responsibilities, is this something you can validate from your reference letter.

Recruit, organize, train and manage staff
Prepare or co-ordinate the preparation ......
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate........
Supervise the development and implementation of financial simulation models

These points in your NOC imply leadership roles (at least mid-mangerial level)

Hi Guys,

I am a 12th June DD 1112 applicant.......I came to know about my rejection and was told that my file is coming back though I don't know the reason. I do have the UCI number.

I was also told that my file was sent back around Sept. end......I need to know about couple of questions?

1. In how much time do I expect my file to reach me? Place - New Delhi
2. Since 1112 is about to get filled and I would stand no chance in this NOC, I am planning to send my application again in another NOC...I have 4 companies on my resume. So should I change the roles and responsibilities for only one of the company or for all???
Also, would CIC have record of my previous roles and responsibilities submitted earlier and would they come to know if I change them now? How does it affect my application?

Any sort of help is much appreciated.

Dear if your file is returned with noc mismatch than you can change the same and apply with best match noc inthe catry

also if you have other noc exp than you can apply for that
dont panic and discuss your job discrption to us

@ Canadian and APSK: CIC does not maintain detailed records of returned applications, they only retain the file if rejected after the payment charge. I have not come across anyone the forum (thats quite a few) who have been able to obtain the reason for rejection by email. CIC mail indicates that the file has been returned on a particular date and that they cannot provide any more information since they do not maintain records of returned application. You can safely submit application under a different NOC, however, you may not know the exact reason for rejection and may very well make the same mistake in the new file. MAKE SURE YOU READ THE INSTRUCTIONS MULTIPLE TIMES THIS TIME AROUND.

I have a different take on it. Even if a file is returned they are giving UCI no. And I believe all the details are recorded against this. That is how when some on writes an email checking status, they are able to say that the file is returned. They may not be recording the return reason because it is not a rejected file and hence may not need to be recorded. That is why they are sending a common printed for all returned applications, highlighting relevant sections for that specific application.

Data provided to CIC must be accurate and consistent. Else it might lead to rejection. However, one can always reapply using a related NOC if the job duties match.

A question for senior members.

I applied under NOC 2241with the help of a lawyer in Canada. App reached CIO this August 6th.

With my work experience, I only have 10 months full time but have provided proof of record of employment (1850 hrs) which is more than the 1250 hours that CIC is looking for. Will this pose a problem?

What is the next step?

How long does one have to land in Canada after visa issued? 1 year from date of visa or 1 year form date of medical?
