Another day in my life where I need a lot of Luck... Applied for NOC Category in Aug for 2174.. Got a job in Toronto so sending an update to CIO today if they can consider my existing application under Arranged Employment without LMIA (since I am already in Canada on OWP)...

As of today, a july 11th Applicant would have waited for 110 days just to see if there is a charge. Quite Absurd to see that though the volumes are low, the charges aren't forthcoming....B.I.Z.A.R.R.E

It's a very fishy situation I think. As far as I know, how can your consultant interact with CIC staff and convince them to accept your application ?? This seems to be a big lie to me. FSW applications are submitted through post only and not personally. The biggest point is that what problem he has in sharing UCI ??

You need to be very cautious and push him for giving UCI at least.

Dear forumites,

Finally i got my eca from icas after 4 months and ready to send my application this week. Just want to know two things:

1. one month old balance certificate from bank is OK or should i get fresh letter?
2. I want to provide details of two credit cards just to avoid any risk that may occur in CC charge. So should i use two original fee payment forms? or one original and another in cover letter format? P.S i cant wait for DD encashement and want to use CC as it let me know status of my application much earlier.

ICAS is a piece of shit. They took me around 4 months for ECA. Never ever use ICAS for ECA. Good part is they recognized my MS from Bangladesh though I did not need this for point.

Well, that's good to know. In that case, I wish London VO is one of the slowest processing VOs! It'd be great to have PR after 2 years, allowing me time to get UK PR and then chose whether to live in Canada or not!

;D Not sure other LVO applicants will agree with you. besides you do not have to emigrate to Canada immediately you get your PR, you can land first and come back to the UK to get your resident permit.
I want LVO to move with the speed of light.

My wife has applied for PR for the NOC 1112. It took us a lot of time to complete the documentation process and we had submitted the application on October 15, 2014. Will it be too late?

Sorry to tell you 1112 will almost certainly be capped well before Oct 15 applications. Hopefully one of you qualifies under another NOC?

Another query guys:
I chose Mexican Visa Office in my application. I'm not MExican and of course I have a residence permit today to live here.
By January, when I should be contacted by local VO to continue the process, my visa will be expired and I will likely be living in the US already.
Is that a problem? Do you guys know if I need a valid visa to have my app processed in a different country then my birth country?
