I am a silent member of this forum. I got PER on 17-Oct-2014 but not able to view the ECAS status. I am getting the error "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided."

What could be wrong? I entered the surname as it appears in my passport and also tried UCI with and without -.

Can someone help me please?

Hi All,

I got PER on 18th Oct.
I have 3 queries regarding my file.

1. My son's passport is expiring in Oct 2015. Do I need to get his passport renewed now or 6 months are enough after MR?
No need to do any action now, depends on your case. If you receive MR in few months time, it should be ok, otherwise, you can renew your son passport by next year in July/August (if you didnt hear from visa office for MR request), Please update visa office if you renew your son passport.
2. He is having American Passport. Do I need to inform USA embassy about his PR once he get it?
No, no need. No relevence.
3. I appeared for IELTS again and got better score and my wife also got her IELTS score. When I filed initially then I did not include her IELTS and achived 67 points with my old IELTS score. Once my file transferred to NDVO, can I supply new IELTS score along with my wife's IELTS score or that is useless now?
No harm to send updated IELTS report of your wife to NDVO, you can try ...If you already gave qualified with 67 points, then it wont make a difference but to be on safe side, you can send IELTS original test report to NDVO as updated document along with covering letter. But you already have received PER so it wont make much difference and not sure if NDVO can assign additional 5 points of IELTS to your application, at this stage because points are calculated at CIC Stage and VO also review points assgined by CIC, based on available documents (at that time), anyways, there is no loss to try

lolz, this is the most common question now a days for all after MR.
Compared to last years' NDVO is a bit fast this year with MR/RPRF so hope the same for PPR.

I am also 18th June 2174 applicant. Just today I can see my status. Earlier I was also getting the same error. I would suggest to wait till tomorrow.
BTW are you filling up same surname as it appear on your "IMM0008ENU_2D" form. As I have spaces in my surname and it caused error issue too.

As per PPR, the passport need to have a minimum validity of 1 year from the date Medical was done because the PR visa will have a validity of one year from the date medical was done. So you need to reniew your passport immediately.

I have a query. My sister has applied for transcripts from her university but has not included the WES transcript request form. However transcripts from university would reach to WES directly. Would WES process this request or she need to reapply for transcripts with WES request form?

i stayed in UK for 5 months and 22 days and i didn't include PCC from UK as the requirement was to send PCC if you have stayed for more then 6 months. so no need to worry on the PCC part

requires from whole family of principal applicant, who are over 18 years of age. (husband, wife MUST)

PCC is required for you, your spouse and all the people in your family who are 18 or older need to get a police certificate.

Yes, WES would. In my case I only had the request form in 1 of the 3 and WES processed within 4 days of receiving all docs.
