I have over 8 years of work exp.

1) I have been in current job for 1 Yr 10 Months as an Asst Manager for which i have got letter of reference from employer without the job duties. Thus, i have taken reference letter from a colleague as well with job duties. Will this work?

Also, advise, if I am eligible to apply under main NOC 0111 - Financial Managers as my job duties matches but my designation ( Asst Manager) don't match with this NOC

2) My job duties with earlier 3 employers for over 6 years match with NOC 1112 - Financial & Investment Analysts , but my designations don't match ( e.g. Associate / Administrator / Specialist). Out of these 3 employers, only 1 has given me Reference Letter ( of 1.5 years) mentioning my Job duties. Other 2 employers have denied to mention job duties, thus i have taken reference letter with duties from my senior / colleague . Will this Work ?

Under this scenario, pls advise with which NOC i should apply

Anticipate help.

1. Never heard a file rejected as experience letter was signed by colleague. Try to give the visiting card of your colleague too. Also suggest you to disclose in a cover letter about why supervisor/HR won't give you detail job description letter.

Designation is certainly important for managerial NOC and I think Assistant Manager with relevant experience should be good enough.

2. Same as above. For you case, NOC1112 is stronger as you get all the proper documents at least for 1.5 years.

Which NOC to apply:

1112: You get more experience and proper documents. But, it will be highly risky if you go for NOC 1112 as it is the Hottest NOC.
0111: Only drawback is JD is prepared by colleague - but I think you will get away with.

Which NOC to apply: Being 1112 as the hottest, if I were you, I won't think to apply at this time. You can seek other's comment whether you can be within cap if you apply NOC1112

Experience:
My opinion is you will get 6+ years experience and point will be 15.

people are waiting for CC/DD charge. And you are talking about AOR.
First CC/DD will get charge. Then PER within few weeks.
After that 2-3 months for AOR.
And you are expecting AOR within 2weeks even CC?DD not charged.

I need a clarification, do we need to produce employment reference for all years of employment? or is it sufficient if I produce a letter from my current employer (whom I am working with since the last 2 years).

It is not necessary to get Refrence letter for every year. But YES, get refrence letter from every employer.

How if we could not find the old permit which attached on the old passport a decade ago, could we just skip it? leave it to CIC to find out?

I'm asking it cause it is mentioned that Generic Application Form should filled in by Adobe Acrobat, but for other forms it is not mentioned. Can you guys share your experience?

By using FOXIT u can write big address in two lines in one row and hence avoid handwriting !!

You can do for all the forms except Generic Form. Because what I think generic form got some inbuilt script which might get affected if we try to manipulate it with some printer and the barcode code could generate wrong information.

This eight digit number appears on all documents you get from Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC). It looks like this: 0000-0000.

If you applied to CIC before
Look for this number on:

letters you received from CIC,
your immigration document such as a PR card, study or work permit.
If you do not have any of these documents but want to fill out an application form:

you can leave the field for UCI (Client ID) blank.

Nopes,
Only couple of lucky ones have survived this mistake, all others have been outrightly rejected for applying under 2 NOCs in same application.

Hi Seniors,

I applied in 2013 as a single applicant under NOC 2147 and i had 67 point but my fill returned due to Cap filled.
Now this year this NOC code is not there but my job responsibilities match with 2281 - computer network technicians, so i will apply for it.


some of my queries are:

I recently got married on 2nd May,

1)so should i need to apply as single applicant or for both.
2) if i mentioned married and wants to apply for my self only , so do i need to submit my wife's passport, marriage certificate, spouse IELTS, etc ? Because my wife do not have any one these.
3) My file is ready as it was returned from last year, but what should i have do.. is it required to fill all documents of my wife (passport,marriage cert.) because it will consume lots of time and months.
