Hi guys,

I recently got my wifes passport renewed with the addition of my name as spouse's name. However, there seems to be a printing mistake in the passport. My fathers name is "Mukesh", and in my wifes passport, they have printed my name with my fathers name as " Mukes". They seemed to have missed the letter "h". Will it impact in the processing of my application? Will it impact in the long run? Kindly advise.

dude just one letter miss-spelled normally dont creates any problem, but those are like U replaced with O like in UMAR or OMAR....or E replaced with A like again in UMER or UMAR or OMER or OMAR.......or if one letter is missed where two are required like in Muhammad if written like Muhamad or with O Mohamad or with E instead of A Muhamed........people even write T in the end instead of D like MuhammaT......

so generally it doesnt creates any problem.......but better u take advice from senior. wish u good luck.

It might be couple of months, if the CIC is processing at the current speed

3rd line have been added in ECAS to "Medical results have been received.". What does this indicate? Does it mean everything is fine with medicals or they are yet to be reviewed?

I got medical request on 9th October, done my medicals on 18th October, and medical acknowledgement was received by NVDO on 22nd October.

I got the third line added on 17th Oct, my Medicals were done on 11th.

There is a mixed information about this, in some forums it says medicals are fine if this line comes, others say it is just that visa office has received medicals and review is in progress. CIC site says "We have received your medical results. We will contact you only if additional tests are needed", so it propably just means medicals have been received at visa office and nothing more.

So no concrete info, and if anyone is aware of concrete information on this Pl post.

I also just received an email from Sing VO for MR today, not Police or Passport request yet. However, my ECAS has not shown the 2nd line yet.

I think all 2014 Singapore VO applicants will receive the same in the coming days. Good luck to all of you.

P.S: my app arrived 9th May 2014, NOC 1123, from Vietnam.

No idea fella bcoz some people get it back in 90 days and some after 5 months as per SS data, so not sure which theory applies.....but hope for best ...God bless all
