Sorry to hear this. As to your questions:

1. Nobody knows.
2. You should update the forms. This is a completely new application so it isn't acceptable for the information you give to leave a gap of several months right before you send it.
3. The additional docs may or may not come back, and nobody can predict when. I wouldn't wait.

1. If you were willing to submit 2 applications just in case, and now you have only 1 submitted but still no answer from them, why not submit the second one again?
2. No, don't freak out, you still have another application in the queue.

Thanks for the upbeat reply future canadian. Updating the forms again was the worst thing I expected. Hope we can get this thing moving again.

For other's who have been inquiring on the dates. The return letter for dated 14th October, ironically the same date our additional docs reached the sydney office. Anyways they would have sent it back citing the reference letter reason. There was no dispatch date for the post.

Dear Members/Seniors,

I have several questions about passport request:

1- How much time would the visa office give in order to send the passports?
2- Regarding the expiration date, would the visa office require that the passport must have a certain expiration date like a year from the passport request email date OR something like that?
3- Could you share the passport request email? remove all personal info

@ CanOl: yes notary is done by public notary mentioning his registeration number, name, license no etc... and its done on 20 rs stamp paper.
and I havent attached affidavit from that person; thats my concern.

and yes its 10th pass (SSC) certificate which shows birth date with my full name.

Should be ok. there were instances in the past where such cases were cleared without any issues.

Is it common that CIC Sydney Nova Scotia transfer files to other CPC offices after sending PER? I got the PER last week and it states that my file is being transferred to Dakar Senegal. I am in Canada and in my application I chose CPC Ottawa for visa office. I am originally from India so my file should have been transferred ideally to CPC Ottawa as I chose that option or at max to NDVO. But I don't understand the logic behind sending file to Senegal Office. I have written a mail to CIC sydney but they have not replied anything on that. Anybody else in similar situation or is it common to send files to other visa offices apart from the chosen one in your application..?

Hi Canol.... In early December...? thats too long when considering with the PER date ( sep 3,2014) and i hope it will come soon in Nov first week itself..

If PER date is 3rd Sept, then yes, MR by End of October / Early November.

You will need to take up strongly with CIC. Must be a mistake at their end.

How come 2174 PER was just issued today for a June 26th app if the cap has been already reached before that?
