If you don't need all the rows of one table, just fill in the rows you need and leave the rest blank. As long as you fill in one row it is fine. If you have nothing to fill in for a table, write "Not Applicable" or write as provided in the instructions.

If you need more space than the table provides, attach an annexure. But fill in the table on the form first and then in the last row of the table refer to the annexure. DON'T just leave a table blank and write "See annexure."
Intact I think its more logical to include entire details in additional sheet instead of filling in form and remaining in sheet. An immi officer will find it easy to refer all details in one page rather than in two separate sheets

I had a 5 page reference letter. What's wrong with it?

If for some reason you cannot get all the required information into one letter you can provide 2, but why separate them when you can provide exactly what CIC is asking for?
Thanks for buttressing my argument.
Why do u need to prepare 2 separate letters....when it can be done in one?
Cheers

There are so many inaccuracies here I hardly know where to begin. You really shouldn't be giving people advice when you don't know what you're talking about.

Unless you have detailed knowledge of the law in South Africa, you have made many questionable assumptions. Her husband MIGHT still be in status in South Africa while his extension is pending. If he is currently in status it is perfectly reasonable to state that his status extends to the present time and provide an explanation of the extension application which is in process.

Also, the national ID field has nothing to do with visa status. A person's national ID may not have the same details as their visa. The question about national IDs asks for the issue and expiry dates of the national ID, NOT the visa. From firsthand experience I can tell you that some countries issue national IDs with expiration dates longer (or shorter) than the current visa, or with no expiration date at all. Providing visa information in the national ID fields on the form might conflict with the copies of the national ID that must be provided and could raise flags.

Also, applicants must provide details of ALL national IDs they have from any country even countries where they do not currently reside. CIC uses this information for background checks.
Hi Future_Canadian,

See yourself in the same mirror. Are you sure that you are in control of what you are writing and thinking?
Even your list has many inaccuracies on assumptions as well.
National IDs can be issued in the country of nationality and country of residence or sometimes country of transit(exceptional security clearance cases for security personnel who travels frequently).
If you have an understanding, I too have understanding.
Who told you that Visa/Work Permits given in country of residence has nothing to do the National Identifications issued in same country of residence. You are partially correct and partially wrong in this aspect as differant countries have differant rules on this.

You are right in your own way and I am too.

There is NO perfect answer for this as we are only trying to guide with
On hand information. We are not lawyers/immigration lawyers to give
Legal opinion based on true facts/artifacts which we don't have access to.
Ofcourse I assumed things since Faithfull100 needed help and I am not lawyer
to ask in-depth personal details regarding her family history in southafrica.

Now, think again, are you sure what you are writing?

I suggested the one of the work arounds in place to circumvent the validate
Option.
If you have better suggestion go ahead advice her

Go ahead and give her a better advice, since it seems that you are an expert in southafrica I law..lol

Hope this will clear your mind and keep you good stead to help aspirants in a positive way:):)

Documents couriered by DHL to WES reached this morning. It was collected at the reception. Its been 4+hrs now, however my status still says, waiting for required documents. After today I believe they go on a 3 day break. I thought if I can manage to get application received date today, they'd also try and give me estimated completed time today itself.

Can anybody confirm when did their status change?
It will take 2 to 3 bussiness days
Immediately write an email to them that your documents are reached.
Call them, make noise that your documents are already and it should be considered quickly as you need to apply for FSWP.
Don't sit tight, make noise then only the things will move in WES
I am feeling this from my experience with WES
I made noise and got it done:)

Just an Idea on those who are applying ECA through WES:

I got an email from WES that my evaluation is already complete
May 5- Submitted through DHL
May 8 - Received by WES
May 12- They emailed that they received and evaluation in progress
May 16 - Received an email that it is Complete

I checked the site and it is already in transit.

Colleagues I need your expert advise on this small matter.

My father's name is not on my birth certificate ... I applied today to get it updated but it will take at least 15 working days, which would mean I have to wait until mid June to submit application to 2171. Now my question is, should I wait on updated version and risk cap full or would it be OK to send what I have without father's name? Is it even that critical to have father's name on birth certificate?

What matters is whether the duties as described in the employment reference letter match the description in the NOC. Actual job title is irrelevant.
