Diplomatru, there is no point in having a discussion with extremists who think it's ok to directly racially attack someone and can't tolerate a joke only referring to a meme. I'd suggest to simply ignore them in future!

I'd be sorry to Diplomatru, Future_Canadian and CanOl who had to go thru unnecessary trouble due to my post. Otherwise, those who ever even slightly offended have taken double revenge and only harmed themselves by using harsh language and acting beyond reasonable limit. I am not offended by that joke on Indian email so I don't expect an apology from anyone, one because it said more about the person writing than India, two because jokes like this doesn't define what my country is.

DD encasement takes time sometimes, so don't be concerned. Just be patient and relax for another week or so, you should hear the good news!

Yes,

99% it means all docs are up to the mark....after that during PER they will calculate the points are getting....also they see the JDs in the reference letter sometimes.....but be sure all docs are good after they charge CC....enjoy..

Need urgent help, as I need to submit US FBI Clearance form

My wife is US Green Card holder/Pakistan citizen, currently she is staying with me in Pakistan.

Under application form:

1. US Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident: Yes (as she is US Legal Permanent Resident)
2. Country of Residence - Which country should I mention (USA or Pakistan)
3. Applicant Home Address (Should I mention her address in US or address in Pakistan?)

Under FD-258:

1. AKA (What should I write there?)
2. YOUR NO. OCA (What should I write there?)
3. FBI No. (What should I write there?)
4. MISCELLANEOUS NO. (What should I write there?)
5. Residence of Person Fingerprinted (Should I mention her address in US or address in Pakistan?)

I believe Background checking goes on till the time they request for PPR.

As per my knowledge , once the BC completes then only medical request comes.....seniors advise

However, i sent all the listed documents including payslips, tax return, translated birth certificate etc. Also, i have only 1 work experience letter that contains all the necessary information published in the document check-list.

My questions is:

1) Do they call up employers for all the applications submitted? Or they do it randomly for some of the applicants as a part of background check?

My boss has moved to another country and he might be unavailable on the number (business card) which i provided to CIC in package during my application submission

dont worry,
i personal know around 5 people who are in same boat as U r!!
there are many people of 12th june, 13th june, etc who r waiting for medicals...
u all will hear good news soon.....

reasons behind delay in medicals could be----
1). more than one experience letters ( which requires more time for background check)
2). NO salary statements attached
3). No tax return statements attached.
4). few affidavits missing (regarding Birth certificate, etc)
etc...
but these are only my point of view....
