CIC will not, but your local visa office may or may not.. it depends.! but they can contact by phone mail or by visit too..

You need to inform them about your resignation & job change b'coz if they do Verification at your previous Emp & they don't find you working there.. it will raise a red flag 8)..

you should be the first one to inform NDVO rather than they discovering it from background check !

That is good news.

It is always a good idea to take relieving letter and experience letter when you leave a employer.

One of my friend doesn't have Birth certificate, however he does have his 10th class mark sheet where his father name and DOB is mentioned in English.

Few queries;
1) Can this 10th certificate can be considered as birth certificate?
2) What type of affidavit should he provide along with this? Can someone provide the affidavit with an example resembling the above scenario?
3) Are there any successful cases who got PER for the same scenario?

School 10th paying certificate by itself is not considered as proof of DOB. You will need to attach along with it, an affidavit mentioning your name, parents name, place of birth And reason for not having a BC.
