hello guys, i have another worry about credit cards, i was doing online purchase yesterday and i discovered the new thing of verified by visa, shall i send the password of verified by visa to CIO, or they are not charging the fees through verfied by visa system like the WES as i have not been requested to make a password for the verified by visa at wes site, only card number and security code
also if somebody has the knowledge about they way CIO charge the fees, is it like the WES charges with no passwords
appreciating your support guys

i am really worried now..
As my pcc has become 3 month old just 1 week back and I have received MR and PCC request.
And I checked with the office in mumbai they say they don't refresh PCC..so to get new PCC do full procedure again that is 1 month wait..

should I just send this pcc?
Will it be acceptable by NDVO?
PLEASE GUIDE

In general , PCC's are valid for one -year period.

Quote from instruction guide:

Note: If you are including your police certificates with your application to the CIO, please ensure that your certificates were not issued more than three months earlier. Police certificates are generally valid for 12 months from the date they are issued. However, if a final decision is not made on your application before the expiry of your police certificate, the visa office may request that you provide a new one.

Dear AAahmend,

What you did was online purchase, CIC/CIO will be doing POS (Point of Sale) purchase on basis of your approval. Kindly check with your bank if FC (Foreign Currency) transaction abroad can happen over $500 on your card or not? let them know the total amount as well so they calculate the hidden charges adding up to your Limit etc.

I am new on this forum even though i have been silently reading other posts which has proved very useful.

My application was received on the 25th of AUGUST 2015 and i lately realized that i made a few mistakes on my Background Declaration form schedule A.

1. On my personal history for my current employer i entered the start date as 2011 but i think i forgot to put the end date as i intended to manually fill in " till date " after printing the form even though i specified the end dates for other previous employer apart from the current one.
I submitted a reference letter from my current employer with up to date pay slips .

2. On my addresses field also, i forgot to specify the end date of my current address even though i have it specified for all other places i have resided in as i intended to manually fill in " till date" after printing the form which i cant remember doing.

Even though i have sent an updated copy of this form to the Central Registry Address provided by another forum member but i dont have a guarantee that it will be matched with my original application and i have also emailed the cio search desk to inform them about this but no response yet.

Kindly assist in accessing my situation forum members

Hi All,

What is the latest date of files coming back for people?

I see many applicants from 22, 30th May and 9th, 12th June with pending status and we are not getting any replies from CIC. Even our DDs hasn't been encashed. What's going on with CIC.......July applicants have started getting PERs and it seems they are done with June.

What could be the possible reasons? Are we supposed to get our files back with rejection or can we still expect PERs a little late though?

Please comment and help.

Is it fine to travel to a city in Canada other than what you mentioned in the application?
after doing some research about Toronto, we might need to change our destination .. can we do that before traveling? or do we need to land in Toronto for a while first before moving to another places ?

Dear Pankaj, as far as my limited knowledge, CIO does have a merchant account or how else they would be able to do a POS/charge on applicant? other members are most welcome to give their opinion and rectify
